Stampin' Up's Dotty Angles with Punched Flower Cascade

Hello,
and welcome from a sunny, but breezy, South of England! It's beautiful here again today but much colder than Wednesday when we sat in the garden chillin' together in the warm sun! At least it's been nice for most of the school holidays though :-)
So, today's card uses another stamp set I haven't broken out in a while: Dotty Angles. I really like this  set for mens cards but I wanted to make something a bit different with it so I started by finding a colour combo I liked on Pinterest. I love to use sketches and/or colour combos to get those creative juices flowing ;-) This is a Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate combo ...
I "cupped" my flowers using the Simply Scored Stylus and my Piercing Mat (please see THIS video)
I also added some vellum flowers and plenty of rhinestones too ;-)
This sentiment is from Petit Pairs
One last shot to finish today!
Well, for some unknown reason I can't get the products to load up so I'll add those later for you :-) but if you want to peruse the annual catalogue while you wait, please CLICK HERE.
**EDIT TO SAY: All fixed now, links at the end of the post as usual xx**
Thanks for looking today :-D

Circle Thinlits Easel card with Everything Elanor

Hi there,
I just had the most wonderful weekend away with the Fam, we went to Chessington zoo and stayed overnight at the hotel there, it was fab! Then yesterday we went to the Ideal Home Christmas Show at Earls Court so I'm feeling really festive right now, might even pop the ole crimbo music on in a bit ;-)
Back to work now and on with today's card! I shared with you last week how to make this card in my 5 Cards with the Circle Thinlits Die tutorial but I wanted to share the rest of the pictures for this card as promised.
We made this card in class last week and I must quickly mention next weeks class where we will be making 10 cards in 3 hours but in addition to this I will be sharing all my convention gossip and of course my swaps! I have made over 100 plus team swaps too so I will have plenty to share, message me to come along to class :-)
So, back to this easel card. I made the base from Pool Party card with Smoky Slate (stamped off first) swirls and Primrose Petals accents all from the Everything Elanor stamp set
This sentiment is from Petit Pairs stamp set and the circle pattern around it is from Everything Elanor stamp set again, we inked this one with markers to miss out the journalling lines in the centre. The scallop circle is from the Circle Flip card Die Set with a punched circle behind to make it "pop"
And a shot of inside to finish. I added one of the yummy Vintage faceted buttons along the ribbon to hold up the easel part, this picture really doesn't do the sparkle justice though ;-)
So, if you want to see how to make this card with all the measurements you need as well as my top tips then please pop over and view my FREE tutorial HERE.
And if you then "need" this die then pop over to my shop HERE ;-)
I am also starting a new Stampers 6 club this month (more details HERE) so if you would like FREE hostess benefits without the hassle of a party then please do GET IN TOUCH.
Thanks for looking!

Creative Elements by Stampin' up! - Embossed and Watercoloured

Hello,
I have the third and final card from my Heat Embossing master class ;-)
We used the lovely swirl from Creative Elements which is really fine and delicate, in a colour combo of Wild Wasabi, Primrose Petals and a hint of Black makes it pop...
We stamped onto water colour paper using Versamark and heat embossed using black embossing powder before colouring in the flowers and leaves using a water brush and ink pads
we also stamped the background using the same flourish and Versamark for a pale image on coloured card
and finally for today we stamped and punch the sentiment from Petit Pairs with a touch of (retired) spotty ribbon
That's all for today but thanks for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed this set of class cards, they were certainly one of my favourites ;-)
For all new class details please follow

NEW ALL DAY KICK START CHRISTMAS CLASS
coming at the end of September...

Happy Birthday Mandi with Petit Pairs and Feathers ;-)

Hi there!
Today I have a card I made my friend a while ago for her birthday using the boxes kit that was in the Spring/Summer catty. I used the yummy NEW Modern Medley DSP from the current catty with it as she is a big fan of Black and White (or Vanilla which is this ;-))
card feathers from the kit were dry embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder
I added a lush seam binding bow and plenty of pearls too!
and a little something inside to finish
Right, I am off to schedule lots more posts as I have a ton of stuff to share with you!
Thanks for stopping by today,

Everything Eleanor Stamp-a-Stack

Hello there!
Today I am sharing with you another card we made at class last week, I haven't used this set in a while (too long really!) and as is usual when I do that I think I must use this one more!!
The colours are Lucky Limeade with Night of Navy, I love this combo! It's very refreshing don't you think?
Boho Blossoms punch makes the flowers from DSP, we gently folded them up to make them fuller and added rhinestone centres, sentiment is from Petit Pairs.
We had to hand cut the panel, much to the surprise of the class ladies, they are so used to having a die to cut things out! It's a nice easy one to cut though ;-)
Lastly we punched a flower using the itty bitty shapes punches to tie the ribbon detail onto the card.
I like how this looks, adding just a touch of ribbon where it might be too much tied all the way around...
Right, I have more cards awaiting me to make them! Ha ha!
Back soon with more :-))))

Stampin' Up Bakers Twine and sweet Shop DSP

Hello there,
I have scheduled this post as today I am helping to cook a 3 course lunch with Zoe and 3 of her friends at school today. They have designed the menu themselves, sadly when the weather was a tad cooler because it is all quite heavy food which would be perfect for a cold day, but it is not cold right now though! Not that I am complaining at all mind!! Zoe is very excited and I am, of course, looking forward to helping the girls learn to cook a bit too :-)

So, today I am sharing a slightly different card to my usual, but I do like. I made this for my down line Hannah's birthday, it was quite a while ago now but I just have so much to show you!! Anyway, I think it would be great for using up all those scraps...

to begin I made a very basic mask so the wave in the centre was bare, I then used the spritzing tool to make a trail across the centre from corner to corner, I hope you can see in this close up...
I made the little pom-poms from bakers twine and added some cute mini twitterpated buttons with in colour brads for a different texture too
and a simple birthday greeting to finish the inside too, love Petit Pairs, it is my "go to" set right now for sentiments
Right, it is very late now and I have another busy day tomorrow!
Thanks for looking today folks,

Pop up Birthday Wishes

Hello,
I had another lovely class yesterday with the lovely Shirley and she had a very special birthday on Sunday, which was of course Mother's Day too and her wedding Anniversary to boot! What a busy day that must have been!
I wanted to make her a special card and so decided to make another of the pop up cards like I made for Emma last week.
I used the Sale-a-Bration DSP to make the card base with accents of the SAB Fresh Vintage stamp set (OFFER HERE finishes on the 31st March, scroll to bottom of the post) on the belly band
Open it up and the Four Frames stamp set is the focus of the pop up for this one
which I inked with markers, sentiment is from Petit Pairs, a lovely little set,
She was very pleased with her card and as I made it I did a little tutorial with measurements in centimetres which I will hopefully get written up tomorrow. If you are good with inches though this is the brilliant tutorial I followed as this is in no way my original idea! I have just adapted it for centimetres because I am rubbish at anything smaller than quarter of inches ;-)
Thanks as always for visiting today,
Back soon with more cardyness
