Two of a kind using the Stampin' Up's 'You're So Lovely' Card Kit

Hello there,
After a fab weekend away I'm back today with a double helping of cards from the You're So Lovely Kit. These are both a little different to the instructions included with the kit so let's have a peek...
I love this card in pink and gold it's be great to change up that sentiment for a wedding, don't you think?
And a wisteria Wonder version. Now, as you may have seen there are just two sponge brayers included in the kit so these extra colours were made using the standard sponges instead.
TIP: The sponge brayer works best when using the small chevron mask in this kit but sponges are fine with the larger masks.
Pop a few sequins (from my stash) and you're done. Pretty cards, easily!
And some gold embossing for the sentiment finishes this card perfectly.
Last 36 (or so) hours for the Weekly Deals.
Don't forget to have a peek before they go at 11pm GMT Tuesday.
Thanks for looking today! I really hope you enjoyed this double helping of cards?

Number Of Years by Stampin' Up! for a CAS card

Hello there,
And welcome to today's post which I'm sharing with you from my hotel room in not so sunny Telford, where I'm at the Stampin' Up! On Stage event with lots of lovely fellow demonstrators and not to forget we will be seeing the new catalogue!!! Eeep!!
So, I do have a nice, cas card for you today that I made recently using the Number Of Years stamps, let me show you...
I added glimmer paper numbers on a vellum punched circle over the stamped flowers
Popped up numbers which you could of course custom to the recipient if you know their age, but I liked '21 again' for a bit of fun!
And one final pic :-)
Before I go just to let you know Kim was the lucky winner of my Sale-a-Bration prize draw and hopefully she has received her prize this week. Thank you so much to all those who entered :-)
Thanks for looking today, I hope you liked the card?
Don't forget to keep an eye on Instagram and social media for updates of my crafty weekend!
I'll be back tomorrow with a double helping of cards for you,
'Till then,

Five Days of Botanical Blooms. Day 1: Diagonal Cut with Botanical Gardens DSP

Hello!
I have a new mini series starting today using the fabulous Botanical Blooms Bundle. This is just superb value when you purchase as a bundle as you get the stamps, dies and the DSP in the bundle price of £46.75. A saving of over £8 compared to purchasing separately!
So, over the next five days I am aiming to show you just how versatile this bundle is by sharing five very different ideas for using it and hopefully you'll love it as much as I do by the end of this series ;-) So let's get started...
(more will show up after today ;-))
This first card was inspired by THIS CARD that I made just about a year ago with a diagonal strip in the front which translated into this using the leaf strip die from the bundle...
I used the Simply Scored Stylus and the Pierce Mat to give the flower a 3d look.
This twine is from the combo pack from the "It's My Party" product suite.
TIP: Use products from other suites and mix up the products you have for a fresh look. For example: Mint Macaron is in both these suites!
 A side view
I used the sentiment from the Birthday Blooms stamps.
And of course I couldn't resist using the clear Wink Of Stella pen on just a few, OK maybe a lot, of the flowers on this DSP :-)))
and a top view to finish today
So, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed todays card?
I'll be back tomorrow with another using this set so 'till then,

Using Stampin'' Up's Botanical Builders Dies with Pretty Petals DSP and Watercolour Words stamps for a Birthday!

Hello!
And happy Sunday to you! It was my lovely Mum's birthday recently and she just loves all flowers - in the garden, in a vase and (luckily for me) on a card too ;-) I was playing with the Botanical Builder dies (love these!) and I teamed them here with the Pretty Petals DSP stack to make this card...
Notice I added some gold metallic thread to the card with glue dots before topping with the flowers? Cute huh? I had inked the edges of the flowers using a sponge and used my Simply Scored Stylus to make the flowers a little more 3d!
This sentiment is from Watercolour Words, stamped in Watermelon Wonder :-)
And to finish this card, a few mini gold sequins from my stash.
And here's the online order code for March!
Remember there's just 11 days left to get your Sale-a-Bration goodies or join SU! for just £99 to receive up to £160 of your choice of products (plus a business pack worth £45) - now really is the best time to join us!
I hope you enjoyed todays card and thanks so much for looking!
