Making Two Vellum Window Cards using the Santa's Sleigh Reindeer by SU!

Hello and happy Saturday to you!
I have another duo of cards for you today this time using the very lovely Santa's Sleigh dies. Of course these dies are 10% cheaper when purchased as a bundle with the matching stamps but I've just used the dies on this card. I've used a sentiment from the Tin of Tags stamps which are still in the 25% off sale too, but only 'till the end of the month. OK, lets see these cards shall we....
I used a red sharpie to colour a silver enamel shape (from the metallics pack which are in the online extravaganza from Monday, more info at the end of this post!)
This design worked best when teaming a neutral pattern with a bold colour like this red plaid and crumb cake tree DSP.
For this second design I swapped the position of the patterns around but stuck with the same neutral and bold combo.
The tin of tags sentiments are definitely not just for tags! I have used them loads this Christmas.
And I used the die cut deer from the front to decorate inside. No waste and a pretty inside :-)
 And both cards together
There's 25% off selected stamps, including the Tin of Tags set shown above, 'till the 30th November to celebrate the release of the fabulous new stitched edge dies.
And before I go today I want to share the Online Extravaganza news with you! Up to 40% off selected products from the 21st-28th November with extra special deals for 24 hours only on the 21st and the 28th! Message me for the inside scoop!
**I will be ordering on both the special Mondays (21st and 28th) so feel free to message me to add your wishes to the order and save on post or visit my SHOP to order directly**

Thanks so much for looking today :-)

Number Of Years by Stampin' Up! for a CAS card

Hello there,
And welcome to today's post which I'm sharing with you from my hotel room in not so sunny Telford, where I'm at the Stampin' Up! On Stage event with lots of lovely fellow demonstrators and not to forget we will be seeing the new catalogue!!! Eeep!!
So, I do have a nice, cas card for you today that I made recently using the Number Of Years stamps, let me show you...
I added glimmer paper numbers on a vellum punched circle over the stamped flowers
Popped up numbers which you could of course custom to the recipient if you know their age, but I liked '21 again' for a bit of fun!
And one final pic :-)
Before I go just to let you know Kim was the lucky winner of my Sale-a-Bration prize draw and hopefully she has received her prize this week. Thank you so much to all those who entered :-)
Thanks for looking today, I hope you liked the card?
Don't forget to keep an eye on Instagram and social media for updates of my crafty weekend!
I'll be back tomorrow with a double helping of cards for you,
'Till then,

Make a Box to fit Scentsy Wax Bar. 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes: Week 9. Using Stampin' Up! Products

Hello,
I hope you are surviving the madness that is this black friday weekend? Perhaps even indulging in a little crafting to keep you sane ;-) This evening I have this weeks 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes video to share with you. When I designed this series of projects I knew I would need boxes to gift some Scentsy Wax Bars in (and I'm sure many of you out there also love Scentsy too) so I set out to design a box to hold one wax bar. The thing for me that was really important was to design a box that uses just one sheet of A4 card, or one sheet of 8.5" x 11" card for those visiting from the US, and that's what I did, lets see....
This was the first box I made using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits in a Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate colourway. Notice the straight sentiment? I purchased the clear mount stamps and gently teased the sentiment into a straighter line before stamping.
And here are the boxes I made on the video. These are Smoky Slate with Silver Glimmer trees and Soft Sky sentiments.
They each fit in one wax bar. Here you can see at the bottom of the boxes the inches version had to have a  slightly different assembly method to accommodate the 8.5" x 11" card from the US. But don't worry! All is explained in the video!
So please, let me share the video with you now...
And here are the measurements for those who like written figures in addition to the video:
**Please note, you need to watch the video in addition to using these figures :-)**
Centimeters First:
Cut at 15cm on the short side down the long length.
Large piece, Long Side, Score at: 3cm, 14.5cm, 17.5cm cut at 29cm.
FLIP and score on Short Side: 3cm and 12cm.
Small piece, Long Side, Score at: 3cm, 12cm, cut at 15cm.
FLIP and score on Short Side at: 3cm. Mark top edge.
In Inches:
Cut at 6" on the short side down the long length.
Large Piece, long Side, Score at: 1+1/4", 5+3/4", 7", cut at 11"
FLIP and score on Short Side:1+1/4" and 4+3/4"
Small Piece, Long Side, Score at: 1+1/4", 4+3/4", cut at 6"
FLIP and score at 1+1/4". Mark top edge.

OK, so thats all from me this evening. I r-e-a-l-l-y hope you like this weeks project! Do let me know ;-)

TMT- Partial Die Cutting using Butterfly Basics- A Much longer than 'Two Minute' Tuesday Video ;-)

Hello,
So today I have a new video to share with you today, after all it is Tuesday! For a change I have it uploaded and ready to share with you nice and early this week but as the title today suggests it's much more than two minutes for this weeks video :-)
Today I'm sharing how to make this pretty die cut edge using your Beautiful Butterflies stamps and dies. Before we go any further I have a couple of things I need to point out- first of all I want to say I saw this video made by the fabulously talented Jennifer McGuire sharing a partial die cut edge and was inspired to make my own version, so big thanks to Jennifer for the inspiration! And secondly, I have had this video made for a good few weeks but have held off sharing it as these dies have been held up in shipping- happily I can tell you they are now available to order again. Because of this delay the video shares with you colouring your rhinestones with blendabilities but as you (hopefully) know these have sadly been discontinued. You could instead use a sharpie or other alcohol marker to colour your rhinestones or just use them plain or even swap them for sequins instead.
OK, lets see my take on this popular technique. I started by stamping the butterflies onto my card then die cut them to make this card. (All is explained in the video, please scroll down to view)
These butterflies were stamped using crisp cantaloupe which is now sold out :-( but you could try any of the subtles inks to get this look or maybe change it up and use a bolder colour!
 Melon Mambo cotton ribbon
This front panel was added with dimensionals...
...please see the video for full details, I hope you enjoy!
and one last picture to finish
Well, I hope you enjoyed today's video and I'll be back tomorrow with another card,
