Two of a kind using the Stampin' Up's 'You're So Lovely' Card Kit

Hello there,
After a fab weekend away I'm back today with a double helping of cards from the You're So Lovely Kit. These are both a little different to the instructions included with the kit so let's have a peek...
I love this card in pink and gold it's be great to change up that sentiment for a wedding, don't you think?
And a wisteria Wonder version. Now, as you may have seen there are just two sponge brayers included in the kit so these extra colours were made using the standard sponges instead.
TIP: The sponge brayer works best when using the small chevron mask in this kit but sponges are fine with the larger masks.
Pop a few sequins (from my stash) and you're done. Pretty cards, easily!
And some gold embossing for the sentiment finishes this card perfectly.
Last 36 (or so) hours for the Weekly Deals.
Don't forget to have a peek before they go at 11pm GMT Tuesday.
Thanks for looking today! I really hope you enjoyed this double helping of cards?

Watercolored Boys Lego Card using Boys Will Be Boys by Stampin' Up!

Hello,
I'm here with a quick and fun card for a boy using the fabulous set Boys WIll Be Boys. I truly love this stamp set and use it a lot! Take a look at today's card where I've teamed it with the Watercolour Words stamps...
I started by embossing the lego pieces with white powder onto watercolour paper. I then added a wash over each pile of bricks in Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out  by hand, mounted it on Daffodil Delight card and hand trimmed it again, leaving a small border.
I added the sentiment to the card front with dimensionals
And one final photo to finish :-)

Thanks so much for visiting, I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

Using Stampin'' Up's Botanical Builders Dies with Pretty Petals DSP and Watercolour Words stamps for a Birthday!

Hello!
And happy Sunday to you! It was my lovely Mum's birthday recently and she just loves all flowers - in the garden, in a vase and (luckily for me) on a card too ;-) I was playing with the Botanical Builder dies (love these!) and I teamed them here with the Pretty Petals DSP stack to make this card...
Notice I added some gold metallic thread to the card with glue dots before topping with the flowers? Cute huh? I had inked the edges of the flowers using a sponge and used my Simply Scored Stylus to make the flowers a little more 3d!
This sentiment is from Watercolour Words, stamped in Watermelon Wonder :-)
And to finish this card, a few mini gold sequins from my stash.
And here's the online order code for March!
Remember there's just 11 days left to get your Sale-a-Bration goodies or join SU! for just £99 to receive up to £160 of your choice of products (plus a business pack worth £45) - now really is the best time to join us!

Pool Party Robot using Stampin' Up's Boys Will Be Boys stamp set

Hello there,
Today's card is another using the adorable, ahem, I mean cool robot from Boys will be Boys. It's no secret I love this little stamp set and I think it's great value too if you have little (and not so little) boys around. Of course you can easily use it for girls cards (SEE HERE) but it is just fab for those tricky males. Lets see....
I do have a little video tutorial on how I watercolour this little robot (and more), if you want you can SEE IT HERE

This card uses a strip of torn paper from the Cherry on Top paper stack wrapped with bakers twine and the sentiment is from the set punched with the washi label punch ;-)
and I couldn't resist adding some White Perfect Accents enamel dots too...
I used a Bermuda Bay base and added a Basic Grey layer too.
And a final, top view for you to finish today.
Well, that's it from me for tonight, I'm off to work now but I'll be back tomorrow with another make :-)
Here is the Online Shoppers Code for use this October. Please use this code when shopping in my Online Store and spending between £25 and £150 for a free thank you gift after the end of the month. If you spend over £150 you will earn your own fabulous rewards :-)
