Oh So Eclectic and Totally Tabs makes a Happy Wife Card!

Happy Saturday to you!
I have had a busy week here again and tomorrow I'm off to Yorkshire for a couple of days to make cards with friends :-) I can't wait! Next week is going to be fun too as I have been chosen to be on a design team for a brand new challenge blog Inspire.Create.Challenges. This is fortnightly challenge blog with lots of fun themes (I can promise you, I've seen the first four!) with lots of talented ladies on the DT sure to inspire you! I do hope you will join us starting Wednesday, however you can go and meet the DT this week HERE.
But, even before all of that I have lots to share with you here! I wanted to make this card as soon as I got my hands on the Totally Tabs! For this card I teamed it with Oh So Eclectic. Such fun, see.....
The sentiment in the set says "Happy Life" so I inked it with a marker and missed off the 'L 'the first time, then inked it all the second time to make it say this - a sentiment all partners should know ;-)
So, it's a tad tricky to tell from the photos but I made the front of the card narrower than the back to allow for the tab and so it would still fit in a regular envelope.
I do love the embossed diamond shape in the thinlits pack for the Oh So Eclectic set.
All product links at the end of this post.
Well, I was going to take the dog out for a run in the forest but the heavens have opened (again), looks like he'll have to wait and I'll go colour!
Hope you have a great Saturday!
Thanks for looking today :-)

Good Morning!
How's things your way today? I am much later in posting todays challenge card as I finished it a bit late yesterday and could I get a decent picture? Ermm, nope! What a pain!

I have used the lovely, but soon to be leaving us, "On a Pedestal" stamp set, there is a fab 25% off now too, just £12.71! I am sad to see this one go tbh, actually there are quite a few I am really going to miss so I will be showcasing them on here all this month!
SU! Last Chance List is HERE if you have missed it
Taffeta ribbon bow in Bashful Blue with Rhinestones
I also stamped the candle from this set on the inside panel,
a side view of the easel, I love this style of card and haven't made one for ages, I might even make a few more this week ;-)
Well, I shall be back tomorrow with this months class cards.
I am full this month for all 3 days, but if you would like to join us next month (1,3,4,5 October) for the "NEW Products" class or later this month for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack (20th and 21st Septemebr-19th is full now) then please email me now to reserve your place, I would love to see you here for crafting (with cake!) Father's Day Class

Good morning to you today,
I want to share with you today the project we will be making at  this months 'Father's Day' class next week, I still have a few spaces left on Tuesday or Saturday of you would like to join us, the cost is just £10 with all supplies included (except photos) or FREE with a spend of £35! contact me on sarah-janerae@sky.com to reserve your place.
So we will be making this brilliant Brag Book which my lovely downline Anna showed to me how to make, using just one sheet of 12x12, when she came and visited with me a while back, thanks Anna, this is such a great project xx I have also made a very basic card to go with this book.
As you can see I chose Basic Grey DSP for my book but you will be able to choose from the Neutrals paper pack to make your brag book with of course co-ordinating satin ribbon,
When you come to this class you will need to bring between 10-14 pictures, each around 6cm square but no larger than 7cm square, they will all fit onto one A4 sheet for printing, again, message me if you need more help with this :-)
Here are my pages, I decided to print my pics in Sepia using Real Red accents with the star stamp from  Itty Bitty Bits and punch,

and we will package them both in a Medium cello bag,
I hope you will be able to join us this month and as always you will receive as much or as little help as you need to re-create this project,

Where to Start.....

Hello there,
I have so much to share with you today!
O.K. I will start with the invites I made for Zoe's birthday party, she wants a sleepover party with FOUR girls this Friday night! Wish me luck with that won't you! lol! Anyways, I have done the easy bit which is make the invites...
I used retired card stock as I am on a mission to use up some of the non-current stuff for little things like this ;-) I stamped over the computer generated wording using Flight of the Butterfly (current) in subtles tones, I topped the invite using the Tab Punch (current) and some retired buttons tied with Linen Thread,
Well, so far I have three out of four coming! More on that as the weekend comes along...
Now, the eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed a new banner in my side bar?? Yes, I am on a Design Team for a BRAND NEW challenge blog, whoop whoop!!
Simply Stampin' Challenge is a SU! based challenge blog. To enter the challenges you will have to use one Stampin' Up! image or Sentiment (easy bit) to participate and make any sort of project or card that fits in with the weekly criteria. I would LOVE it if you would come by and join in our challenges. They will be set weekly on a Saturday morning, with lots of inspiration from a brilliant DT ;-) So, get your Stampin' Up! thinking cap on and lets see what you are creating with the brilliant SU! products!
and finally for today I would like to say a massive Thank-You to my lovely downline Anna who came to visit and participate in a class this weekend, we had a lovely time chatting all Stampin' Up! and then yesterday I received this gorgeous bouquet of flowers!
They are even more beautiful in real life! so again, Thank-you Anna, it was an absolute pleasure and I hope to meet up again soon. If you are interested in signing up as a demo either as a hobby demo or to run a successful business then please drop me a line for a chat about joining my friendly and fun team,
Thanks for sticking with me today, I hope you are still awake after all my ramblings!

Pink Passion Milk Carton

Hello,
Bit of a quick post from me today, I made this for my sister the other day to give to her friend filled with choccies for her birthday, as the title says this one is made with Pink Passion card with Tempting Turquoise mat and tab,

background is made with the Good Friend stamp set, one I haven't used for a long time, I had forgotten how much I like it. Mini paper clip on the tab from the Clips Assortment tied with Satin Ribbon and Silver Cord,

and a quick close up of the image, I know it is a retired SAB set but it is just so perfect, Well done if you managed get your hands on a set :-) Love the little Tiny Tag Punch (mini catty) for sentiments,

I coloured the cake with blender pens and a mixture of ink pads and marker pens, If you would like to learn how then why not come to one of my monthly classes or even host a workshop? email me for more details or to place an order sarah-janerae@sky.com
Thanks for looking today,

Milk Carton in Cameo Coral

Good Morning,
Super quick post from me today. My sister needed a box to put some choccies in for her friends birthday, well actually she needed two but I will share the other one with you later in the week, but anyway, I made this one in Cameo Coral and teamed it with Old Olive for a change, I love how these colours work together :-)

Sentiment is retired but the candle is from On a Pedestal. Tab punch used to close with a paper clip from the Clip Assortment which I tied with striped grosgrain ribbon in Old Olive and Linen Thread,

Pattern around the outside is made using True Friend stamp set in Coral Ink and a little close up of the sentiment panel,
So, that's it for today,
Thanks ever so for stopping by,

Milk Carton in Melon

Good Morning,
I trust you are all well, I must apologise for lack of posts again this week but DH has been in hospital, he is home now and (hopefully) on the mend so normal service should resume presently :-)
I made a new Milk Carton last week after seeing one in this colour made by my lovely friend Nicky. Thanks for the inspiration hun x
It uses the yummy new Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry card stocks and Inks, they are lovely together aren't they? Contact me for info on getting a little of all the new colours in my SHARE, only 3 left, hurry!
Please see side bar for my step-by-step tutorial on how you can make this carton,
I stamped the box before scoring with matching Ink using the spotty heart from the I {heart} Hearts set,
This tab is not glued so as not to spoil the box when removing any contents. I made it using the Tab Punch and scrap of ribbon, the cute clip holding it all together is accessorised with yummy tags made using Tiny Tags stamps and matching punch tied on with Silver thread,
The large heart is made using the full heart punch and the spotty one was cut out by hand and inked all over with Versamark, I then used Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds to make it gorgeous and sparkly,
Finally I must share this with you. The day I made this Milk Carton Zoe was going dancing, she went up to get changed and came down in this! Totally her own choice but I thought she just matched my Carton perfectly? What do you think??
{{P.S. Don't mind the garden behind, it is very much a work in progress at the moment, may even get some work done out there this weekend...}}
Well, that's all today, have a great Thursday and here's to the sun shining again today,
Hugs S.J. xxx

Punch Cupcake

Hello,
Hope you are all doing well.I have a card today using the punch cupcake we made at my Crazy for Cupcakes class a few weeks ago (although at the time of writing this it is tomorrow, how freaky is this, not to mention actually quite hard to do)
I made a couple of extra cupcakes when planning for the class and then joined them together with foam pads with some fine fishing wire between to make a suspension card,

Here it is open so you can see the cake movement, Pearls from stash,

and here is the inside

Papers used are Sweet Always (again!) stamps are from the Crazy for Cupcakes set, Scallop border, Tab and Scallop Circle punches used,

That's it for today, Thanks for popping by

Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
