Good morning,
I was up really early (for me) this morning as Zoe had to be at school by 7.15  ready to set off for her school trip to Derbyshire :-) She has been so excited all weekend, and kept saying "I can't believe I'm going" every 5 minutes! So, I have waved goodbye (which was surprisingly short once her friends were there) and now I am just popping on here to post before I take the boys back round to school too, good job we live nice and close ;-)
Anyway, I have a card for you today, I have been playing with the SAB papers this last few days so I will be a doing a series of cards using them this week for you :-)
The first is a more manly card (I think) with the square punches being used to create a background with Everyday Enchantment DSP and the Outlined Occasions used for the sentiment. These can both be yours for FREE, see the pdf HERE
Across the bottom of the card I used the fab new set from the mini catalogue called Borderlines, love this set! Finishing with a string of linen thread,
A closer view of the sentiment, I coloured the letters in using Soft Suede and Crumb Cake using my blender pen, managing to resist the urge to glitter some or all of the letters in the hope of making this a more male card??
Right, that's me done for today. I have loads on this week including getting ready for my All Day Class which is next Sunday, I have one last kit for this class, message me to come and join in the fun!
Plus we are going to decorate Zoe's bedroom for when she comes home as a surprise! It's going to be a busy week!
Thanks for dropping by today

Christmas Wishes

Hello,
And a very Merry Christmas to you all, I sincerely hope you all had a lovely day with friends and/or family. We had a reasonably quiet day with just 8 of us here, the only downside being that I had to work Christmas day and boxing day evenings, boo! the daytime was lovely though :-)
Last Christmas few Christmas cards to share with you today, these are the cards I made for some of my lovely customers using the ornament punch, Jolly Holiday papers and some super soft satin ribbon,
2 designs...
and for my class Ladies I made some little after eight mint holders with easel style toppers with 3 sections to open,

and I popped them in little cello bags before hand delivering them,

well, I hope you like and have a lovely bank holiday Monday today, I am hoping to not do very much at all just play with the kiddies,
Enjoy your day whatever you are up to :-D

Trees in Teal

Hello,
I hope you are all well today, I have a little card today totally inspired today by the paper I used on it, The paper is from the Sweet Pea stack, this is only available until the end of September, so if you haven't got it yet then you better hurry ;-)
Colours used are Taken with Teal, Basic Grey, Old Olive, Choc Chip and Summer Sun.

Trendy Trees stamp set used and this set is 20% off this month so it is a bargain at just £10.36! but only 'till the end of August, I also used it to make the background on the right hand side of this card.

I used the Cutter Kit to distress the edges and finished it off with my favourite Linen Thread.
Thanks for stopping by today,

Milk Carton in Cameo Coral

Good Morning,
Super quick post from me today. My sister needed a box to put some choccies in for her friends birthday, well actually she needed two but I will share the other one with you later in the week, but anyway, I made this one in Cameo Coral and teamed it with Old Olive for a change, I love how these colours work together :-)

Sentiment is retired but the candle is from On a Pedestal. Tab punch used to close with a paper clip from the Clip Assortment which I tied with striped grosgrain ribbon in Old Olive and Linen Thread,

Pattern around the outside is made using True Friend stamp set in Coral Ink and a little close up of the sentiment panel,
So, that's it for today,
Thanks ever so for stopping by,

Trendy Buttons

Good Morning,
I have another easel card to share with you today.
I wanted to add some buttons to the little tree trunks from "Trendy Trees", instead of the stamped tops, just for a change, and I think it works really well giving this set a whole other angle ;-)
background stamped using the "Good Friend" set in toning colours
Circle of Firendship bithday sentiment, I think this was the very first SU! set I ever bought, I love it and don't use it anywhere near enough, I have layered it up using lots of punches here,
Certainly Celery Twill ribbon (not available any more sadly) tied with Linen Thread as are the buttons,
And finally here is the side view,
Well, quick post from me today, I am going to do a bit more work in the garden this morning,
Have a good one,

New Bird Punch

Good Afternoon to you all,
I hope you are all enjoying the glorious sunshine??
I have another card we made at Saturdays class to share with you today, and as you can probably guess from the title it uses the lovely New bird punch which is in the mini catalogue. It's a fantastic new space saving design which folds flat for storage, V. clever, but with the same punching capabilities as the normal punches.
Card base is Ruby Red which I scored at 1/2" intervals (to resemble wooden boards??),
house is Kraft card stamped with the lovely vine from Vintage Vogue (mini p, 14) with Versamark, the roof is Sweet Pea DSP (mini p, 13), I hope you can see that we sprayed the house with white shimmer paint (Mini p, 21) (mixed with alcohol,) to make it all sparkly. Bird (mini p,6) was punched from the same paper with the bird turned round to show her stripey side,
Tiny tags (min p,6&15) used again in Ruby Red ink, tied onto yummy Choc Chip Satin Ribbon (min p, 11) with linen thread and topped with stitched felt circle (min p,13).
here is the arty angle, we raised the house up with plenty of foam pads for dimension,
I hope you like this one, I will be back tomorrow with a very different way with the bird punch and some more lovely shimmer ;-)
Thanks for stopping by,

Anyway, back to the card, I have used the new mini heart punch, great new design these new punches are too, nice and small for storage, (mini p,6)
DS Paper is Sweet Pea, (LOVE it, and yes, you do need some!! 48 sheets of double sided yumminess) (mini p,13)
mini pop up is made using a scalloped square (IB&C p,89) of punched paper,
"4 U" and crown are from Tiny Tags (mini p,15), White gel pen ( IB&C p,91) spotted down the scalloped border (IB&C p,89),

Lucy Birthday, part 2 and a special offer 'till Wed only

Good morning,
Yay, it's the weekend!! whoop whoop!
Yesterday I showed you the card I made for Lucy, now that was great fun to make but about a week ago her lovely hubby got in touch and asked me to make her a birthday card... but not just from him, but 1 each from their 2 kids too! Well, obviously I was very touched to be asked, but way! 4 cards for 1 lady... not easy! So, this is the one I made for Pete to give to her :-)
I went with a vintagey feel to this one using the Love You Much stamp set (p 26),
I masked the bids and stamped the heart in the background, then water coloured in some details with a blender pen in Sage Shadow to match the card,
These little hearts were stamped from Love You Much and punched with the Heart to Heart punch then joined with linen thread, sentiment is from Cheer and Wishes (p 62)
This little detail is on the inside and comes from Sealed with a Kiss (p 26) a cute little set which I use quite a bit for anniversary cards,
and finally the arty angle,
I will be back Monday with another card for Lucy ;-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally for today my special offer for you but only 'till Wednesday, I am offering you post and packing for just £2, no matter how much you order (usually 5% or £3.95, whichever is greater) direct to your door, that is in conjunction with the SU! special offer for this month which is 20% off punches when purchased with selected stamp sets plus my prize draw to win a level 1 stamp set (see top post)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All that's left to say is wishing you all a fab weekend and
thanks for stopping by,

Trendy Tree Thanks

Hello,
How's your day been? mine has been quiet, too quiet actually so I decided it was about time I got out of the house, it is just too quiet here at the mo :0(
Anyways, I went to the village and had a mooch around, looking through the charity shops, not something to do with hubs, he is not fond of that past time! as it happens I didn't find anything in the charity shops today.
I did however manage to find a lovely white painted wooden toothbrush holder and it's matching toilet roll holder in a little shop in Hythe for just £1 each in the sale, perfect for Josh's new shower room :0)
Right now, onto todays card, I made this a few days ago, I am loving the Perfect Plum and Pale Plum colour combo at the mo, I have just ordered the Perfect Plum DSP so looking forward to having a play with those, I digress (again) back to the card...

A close up of the trees, stamped in both the plums and Pretty in Pink, trunks in Creamy Caramel,

As you can see I added another little tree inside to finish,

That's all for today, don't forget to enter m colour challenge and my blog candy whilst you are here,
I will be back tomorrow with a card for 2 challenges and I have to say I love it *can I say that??*
anyways, you can let me know what you think,
Bye for today, Hugs S.J. xxxx

Love you much

Hiya,
As promised here is the card I mentioned earlier, I have been having a little play around with this yummy new set which I got for Christmas along with it's matching punch,
For this set of 4 cards (more of which I will be showing you over the next few days) I have used a colour combination of Kraft, Real Red and Chocolate Chip, Love this combo :0)

Stamped using Choc Chip ink, the hearts are punched out then dropped through the Kraft and stuck straight onto the Real Red base, small clear brad added to the middle of the flower,

the side is scored and held together with linen thread, Choc Chip card along the bottom scalloped with the scallop edge punch.

All supplies used are SU! and available through lil' ole me :0)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
finally here is a piccie of the kids once they had come home from school and went out to make their snowman,
Take care in the snow,
I'll be back tomorrow with some more from this set and all schools are closed! yay! no early morning!
