New Home Cards using Stampin' Up's Holiday Home and new stash news!

Hello,
Today I took delivery of a not so small order from the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue!! And in between a ton of things I had on today I have even managed to squeeze in a little play :-D I'm so happy with the goodies I ordered and can't wait to make some more!! I have so many ideas right now ;-) I will take photographs tomorrow of the things I have made already and I have plenty of things to share with you over the coming weeks. I actually even made a couple of project videos this morning so keep an eye out for them coming soon...
Here's another sneaky peek I shared on Instagram today: I love this little stamp set called Barnyard Babies. As you can see I ordered this in wood mount which I don't do very often these days but there were just too many little tiny stamps I knew I would end up losing one or more!! Lol.
If you want to see my top tips for mounting your wooden stamps PLEASE GO HERE.
OK, lets get onto today's cards. I recently needed two New Home cards so I decided to team the old and new - Old (retired) stamp set Holiday Home which is just perfect for these cards and I think the only set I have for New Homes and New In Colour Mint Macaron...
I added a clip tied with thick twine to this version
Two of the same houses, just coloured slightly differently
And this version got the Mint Macaron lace ribbon treatment on it's clip...
and a side view together to finish today.
Well, both recipients seemed happy with their New Home Cards ;-)
I hope you have enjoyed today's post and I'll be back tomorrow hopefully with a video for you - Fingers crossed!
Thanks for stopping by today,

New Stampin' Up! 2015/16 In Colour Cards using Work of Art and Be the Star.

Hi there,
I have a couple of designs of cards today using Work of Art and Be the Star showing off the fabulous new In Colours! As you probably know I was really sad to see the last lot of in colours leave us but I must admit these are all really growing on me now I've had them a few weeks. Take a look at the designs I came up with to show them off...
I used Be the Star for this design - stamped using all 5 colours ;-)
I popped one of either of these little cards in with each NEW SU! catalogues I sent out.
This version uses Work of Art,
You can see my TUTORIAL for how to evenly space your stripes.
Note: For this design I left a slightly larger gap between the stamped lines than the card in the tutorial.
 And both together.
I do still have a couple of these little cards left so if you want a CATALOGUE please see HERE for how to get your own hard copy :-)
Thanks for looking today,

Lots of Cards in a Box! Using Guy Greetings and Painted Petals by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
So, have you had a chance to look through the new catty?? Do you have any favourites yet?? I have so many and have already placed my first "proper" order and am eagerly awaiting delivery, stalking any brown vans that happen past the house!! I'll be sure to share my haul with you when it comes. On that note did you want me to do a little video when I receive my parcel?? Let me know 'cause I'd be happy to share :-)

OK, so I'm going to share with you my card class from last week and we went with a Card in a Box theme and I made three versions of these larger cards.
First of all I have a Guy Greetings version, happily this set is in the new catty :-)
This one I coloured in in an old sepia style...
This version uses Painted Petals which is now retired, I do love this set.
And another Guy Greetings version, for this one I wanted to emulate the old fashioned photographs where they added colour to the pictures afterwards..
So, I gave my ladies at class a choice of what to make and here are their lovely cards! We used a selection of paper stacks and stamps. Didn't they do a great job? I love them all!!
I you would like to join us at a card class please do get in touch or go HERE for dates and times.
I would love to see you here :-)
Oh, and don't forget to check out the WEEKLY DEALS too!
