Stampin' Up! Flirty Flamingo Colour Combo with the You're Sublime Caravan

Hello and Happy Saturday!
I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the weekend?
So today I have a cute Flirty Flamingo based colour combo for you :-) I have teamed this yummy colour with Wisteria, Slate and Mint, I loved these colours together!
And this is the card I made using the little caravan from You're Sublime! I have this set in clear mount and yes, I have cut the sentiment off this image for easy stamping! It's OK though, I can simply line it up on my clear block to stamp it together when I want to ;-)
This new ruffled ribbon ties a super cute bow!
And a little subtle watercolouring. I used watercolour paper with SU! Basic Black ink for this image finished of course, with some clear wink of stella highlights!
So, do you love Flirty Flamingo as much as I do?
Well that's all for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card!
I am off to my craft room for later as I'm not at work tonight, Yay!!
Enjoy your weekend and I hope you get chance to stamp! : -)

Notebook Gifts using You're Sublime by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
First of all today I want to share with you an exciting new series I have planned which is starting next Saturday! For the first time ever I'm going to be doing a 12 weeks of Christmas Series :-) I shall be making a special project each week that could be used for Christmas and many will include a video tutorial too! So please be sure to set a reminder to come see this fun series!
Back now to todays post though, I'm sharing with you a couple of notebooks I covered as a little thank-you gift for my stamp club gals. I picked up some cute, hardcover notebooks in M&S and gave them a little makeover using the retro caravan from You're Sublime, take a look....
I used Thick White card for the front cover and kept the colours muted and similar to the book binding.
The natural dip in the spine allowed the thick twine to sit in place (although I did add a dot of Crystal Effects behind the knot too)
A wooden heart and sequin was a spare from the Watercolour Wishes kit. I adored making this kit!
With the stamped heart from Watercolour Words and the sentiment is from You're Sublime too.
 Some more thick twine :-)
A close up of the watercoloured caravan
and one more picture together to finish today
So, I hope you enjoyed todays post. I am off to cut card ready for tomorrows class and hopefully film Tuesdays video too!
See you tomorrow!

Day Three of Five Days of You're Sublime by Stampin' Up! some Shaker Card Fun!

Hello!
I'm much later today than the last couple of days as we've been having a relaxing Sunday...well, that was the idea anyway ;-) I've been doing a spot of cooking and teaming it with crafting then a whole load of bits of sewing I've been collecting up, some of which you can see if you check out my Instagram or Facebook pages (Links at the end of every post).
So, onto day three of five days of You're Sublime.
I made another shaker card but using the cute little caravan this time, it's so adorable!! Lets see shall we...
I stamped the image using staz on and then coloured it in using blender pens and ink pads.
This stripey paper is from the Pretty Petals 6"x6" stack, as you can see it's not just flowers ;-) Tied around with Vanilla thick twine.
Another sneaky share: I have a shaker card video coming soon too!
It's quite a thick card and very sparkly with the sequins already so I kept the front decoration to a minimum.
And one more top view to finish today :-)
Well, thats all from me for today and I have day four all cued up and ready to go so hopefully it'll be a bit earlier tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by today :-)
