Emboss Resist Pineapple Card using Stampin' Up! Supplies with FREE Video Tutorial!

Hello!

I love, love, love this giant pineapple stamp in the new SU! catalogue and I knew it would be perfect in the Pop Of Paradise class I had last week! I wanted to use the black and white side of the paper to showcase the versatility of this DSP as you can use this fun emboss resist technique with any colour ink you'd like!

TIP: Bold colours do work especially well on DSP.

 And so I made these cards....

 Using Mint Macaron ink....

And Melon Mambo ink. This was a popular choice....

 And both together :-)

 So, I thought I would make a quick video sharing how to create this card for you at home.

And this is the card I made on camera using Pool Party ink. It reminds me of long, hot summer holidays *sigh*

A Mint and Saffron Emboss Resist Card with Birthday Blooms by Stampin' Up!

Hello,

And welcome to todays card! I wanted to use this Birthday Blooms stamp set to make something in a bit of a different colour way to usual so I decided to team some Mint Macaron DSP with So Saffron. I also really wanted to make an emboss resist card and this is what I came up with... 

So I stamped the flower and heat embossed it in white. Then I took a sponge dauber and gradually built up the colour from the centre outwards to get this look.

I used some retired thick white twine around the bottom of the panel but you could easily use white bakers twine instead :-)

Perfect accents to finish this card.

and finally a top view :-)

Pink Watercolour Emboss Resist using Stampin' Up! Flurry of Wishes

Hello,
I'm back today with a CASE of a card I made in August (you can see it HERE). I really must do this more with cards I have designed and re-make them in a different colour combo or change them up slightly ;-)
So, when I made this card originally I used a neutral, crumb cake and white combo but when we remade this card at a class a few weeks ago I changed it up for this pretty, modern Pink and Slate colourway...

 White heat embossed snowflakes, coloured over using an aqua painter and pink pirouette ink.

 Slate twine tying on some Blushing Bride sequins (see THIS video for my tip to stop your sequins unravelling)

Shiny, white embossing. Have I mentioned I love heat embossing..... :-)

 Now, I totally should have stamped the sentiment first, then stamped and embossed the snowflakes around it! But I think I get away with it??
