Whitewashed Wildflower Meadows Card

Hello there,
Last card from the Wildflower Meadows classes for you today.
I love the whitewashed technique (not sure if it's called that? Just me then huh? ;-))
We stamped using White Craft Ink onto crumb Cake with a base of Calypso Coral,
So, once you have stamped in the white, leave it to dry (or blast with a heat gun if you're in a hurry) and colour the image using your ink pads and a blender pen, simples!
I had a little bit of retired coral ribbon left so went with that to decorate but I wanted to keep it simple to show off the beautiful stamp ;-)
OK, that's all for today.
Back soon with more cards!

Watercolour Effect Wildflower Meadows Card

Helloo there,
I have the second card from my Wildflower Meadow class. This set proved to be very popular with the ladies as they played with it :-))))
For this version we inked teh stamp using markers then spritzed it with water to give this pretty effect.
The colours were Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Wisteria Wonder with a touch of Elegant Eggplant and Limeade for the leaves. We stamped it onto Naturals White card as it's a bit thicker and also has that mottled look (click on the picture to enlarge)
I love the look that spritzing gives, and the fact that every card turned out differently depending on how much water the ladies added ;-)
a bit more Label Love with linen thread as this reminded me of being in the garden I liked the idea that the linen thread looked like garden twine??
Right, that's me for today,
Back tomorrow with the last card form this class.

Wildflower Meadow Class

Hello there,
I am going to share my Wildflower Meadow class with you over the next three days starting with this double embossed version!
We started by inking with Versamark and heat embossing with clear powder, we then ran the card front through the Big Shot using the matching embossing folder.
The colours are Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana..

You can see the shine of the heat embossing here too
and a pretty bow finishes this card off
Right, that's all for today, Back soon with another Wildflower card.

Wildflower Meadow

Hello there,
I have a card today for you using the Wildflower Meadow stamp.
I'm using this in class this week so will have more to share with you using this lovely stamp soon ;-) I still have a couple of places for Tuesdays class, message me if you would like to come along.
My classes are held in Dibden Purlieu, on the edge of the New Forest and we would love to see you here :-)
So, to make this card we used the new Smoky Slate coloured ink (*heart*) with Gingham Garden DSP, the colours are Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo
Once we had stamped we embossed with the matching folder too, loving this effect!
and finally a stitched grosgrain ribbon bow complete with a very vintage button topper
That's today's card for you,
Back soon with another!

Gingham Garden Card with Wildflower Meadow

Hello!
As promised I'm back with the other two cards from the Card Keeper Box set I shared with you last night :-)
We made a pretty card with a scrunched flower first using the blossom punch
and another of those yummy Very Vintage buttons
and a touch of ruffled stitched ribbon to finish
Now, this is the card using the Wildflower Meadow stamp which we inked using the markers.
Sentiment is from Happy Day stamp set, as you can see I got a bit carried away and ended up with "ghosting" around the top edge, ooopsie!
 the Wildflower Meadow flower
and finally a Finishing Touches Edgelit across the top of the paper layer
OK, that's all from me today, back soon with more!
Stampin' Hugs from me for today,
