Blossom Party Flower Die with Dictionary stamp by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
I have a super quick card today for you, you could easily knock a a whole bunch of these up in a flash and use all your scraps of card too! It's extra quick as I have used the Bigz Blossom flower die (which is retiring at the end of the month) and as it's a bigz die you can cut loads of layers together making these a snap ;-)
So, I went with a pretty colour combo of Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla and Coastal Cabana, (this seems to be a favourite of mine right now!) to make this card...
I used the (also retiring) ruffled ribbon and XL rhinestones in the centre of the flower too
and the Thank You is from Simply Celebrate in Basic Grey with the background using the Dictionary stamp in Smoky Slate
OK, I have to dash off as Zack is in the school assembly today so I need to get ready for that!
Have a fab rest of your day and
Happy Stampin'!

Blossom Party flower

Hello there,
I have the first card from last weeks class to share with you today. I decided to play with some of my dies for this class. For this card we used the Blossom Party die to make a cute 3d flower in Vanilla
The brad is retired but just matched so well but the doyley is from the spring/summer catalogue and available now!
and a yellow seam binding ribbon bow fits around the Tea for Two DSP,
Right, I'm off to make tea for my lot ;-)
Back tomorrow with another card for you
Thanks for visiting today!

A Special Card with a Broadsheet Alphabet and How to Punch An Image Larger Than Your Punch Tutorial

Hello there,
I am here today with a special card for a special friend, Jules. She is my SU! Upline but has become so much more than that, she is a real friend to me. Anyway, Jules made Gold 1 in promotions last week and so I had to make her a card to show her how I was thinking of her and how proud I was too!
Of course it needed Gold in there somewhere and what better colour to go with Gold but Calypso Coral! The perfect colour combo.
Ribbon rose with Blossom Party die and a pearl
a lovely Butterfly embosslit with pearl body
and a little decoration inside too :-)
Now, Jules called me yesterday to ask how I made the "G" and "R" overhang the postage stamp punch so I made a super quick tutorial on how it's done for you all! This method would of course work with any stamp and punch combo where the image is slightly larger than the punch ;-)
Begin by stamping your letter (lower down the card would have been better, but we can work around this ;-) Also punch another postage stamp out too from scrap card.
position the extra punched square over the top of the letter, I had the letter slightly to the left so the loop at the bottom fitted in the square's edges, and mark lightly with a pencil
trim around the bottom of the letter, up to the lines you just marked, I also cut off some of the bottom pieces where I stamped too high at this point
use your scissors to feed the extra part of the image that will be outside the punched area
like so, and then just punch
rub out your pencil lines and tidy up your cutting if needed
OK, that's me for today, I hope you like the card and that my mini tutorial has been a help, any questions, please email me :-)

Ribbon Rose Thanks

Good Morning,
I hope you are all well, I have just been over the forest for a walk with the dog! It's not that warm but it was nice to get some fresh air!
Anyway, a quick post today as I am going to be designing my Stamp-a-Stack class (dates are 31st March, 2nd and 3rd April from 9.30-12.30) At this class we will be making 10 cards, 2 each of 5 designs for just £14, message me to book your place :-)
So, back to today's card
I used a base of Basic Black with a Calypso Coral layer embossed with polka dot folder with Crumb cake and Black punched squares
Another ribbon rose, are you fed up with them yet? Lol! I made a paper flower with Blossom Party die, don't forget this is only available 'till the end of April but if you get yours now (and a few other bits, perhaps some of the ruffled ribbon? to make a £45 order) you will get to choose a free Stamp set or pack of DSP. You can choose your freebies from THIS PDF
well, off I go to play with  paper ahem, work really hard ;-)
Thanks for visiting today,
Happy Stampin'

Laura's Brag Book

Good morning,
To share with you today I have the brag book the lovely Laura designed for the All Day class. We were going to get together and run this day but unfortunately we ended up doing the same class in different locations :-)
So this is the beautiful book Laura designed, I added a little 3d flower on the front using the new Blossom Party die and a ruffled ribbon rose (tutorial here) it does look pretty but it did make photographing this book a little more hmmm, lets say, tricky! The bag base is stamped using Spiced Paisley in craft white ink
and when you open it up there are two pockets inside
which open out, I have left mine blank for now....
As you can see I did mine in colours to match the Spice Cake DSP as this was the theme for the day, I stamped the flower from Fresh Vintage onto the pages for a little decoration ;-)
and a side view to finish
Wow! I do love this little book, please do visit Lauras blog for lots more fab ideas, I'm sure she will share her version of this cute book soon too :-)
