Happy Birthday Neil!

Hello there,
Yesterday was my lovely hubby's birthday, I was V-E-R-Y behind and hadn't even made his card but luckily (for me) he had to take his car to the garage and so I made this card for him yesterday morning! On the face of it it is a really quick and simple card, however it took me an absolute age to make, mostly because I had a complete mental freeze and couldn't think of any men's style cards to make! I am quite happy with the end result but anyway, here it is for you to judge...
I stamped the Outlined Occasions (Free SAB set) with versamark and heat embossed it with silver powder, once this was melted I coloured the letters in with a Versamark Pen, a great little tool every crafter should own ;-)
I used Not Quite Navy card with Basic Black, and made matching tags with more silver embossing powder tied onto some more of the lush wide striped grosgrain ribbon
the inside was finished with the matching sentiment from Outlined occasions, I love this font!
Well, I am off out today, don't know where yet hubs is surprising me (I hope!)
Thanks for visiting today

Update on Retiring Products and a Card!

Hi there,
I am back with a little update on the Last Chance List, there have been a couple of omissions on the original list and so HERE is the new link, for you to check and make sure the stamps/accessories you "need" before they retire on the 30th September are on here or not!! And please remember that some items will sell fast! please email me with your order and I will place it for you straight away :-)
So, I have got a card to share with you today too, it was made for my sister to give to her boyfriend, she saw the card I made for this Simply Stampin' Challenge a while back and loved it, I had unfortunately given it to someone else to use though so I had to re-make it, with a little change around of course!
Some wide striped grosgrain which I ruffled and stitched
Broadsheet Alpha used for the "L" "V" and "E" with the large heart punch and square lattice folder to make the "O" I also used the medallion stamp for the background too
Plenty of distressing and stitching around each layer
and some detail inside to finish
Thanks for dropping by today,
Don't forget I am starting a stamper 6 in October, message me now to reserve your place and get your very own catalogue delivered direct to your door for FREE and then a little SU! goodness each month for 6 months too!!

I also added a few embossed butterflies made with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit, another SU! exclusive.

Rich Razzleberry Stripey Ribbon

Hello there!
Today I am going to have a relaxing day, well, I say relaxing...I have 3 special cards to make, photograph my Baby Blossoms class and write up the tutorial, and tidy up as FIL is coming to stay on Friday! So, perhaps not so relaxing, maybe I should call it an "indoors" day ;-)
Anyway, I have a card today I made for Allie, my SU! sister :-) It was her birthday on Monday and I couldn't resist using the wide striped grosgrain that I received FREE with my order, on her card. You too can get a roll of this ribbon for free, as well as a box of clips and a gorgeous cosmetics bag, See THIS POST for more pics and details or EMAIL me with your order or questions :-)
Back to Allies card! I have used my sadly neglected Just Believe stamp set with a colour combo of Rich Razz, Crumb Cake and Regal Rose, I really must use this set more often as I love the end result!
I inked the stamp using my markers and the little flower at the bottom was stamped with versamark
and tied a "bunny ears" bow, I was thinking about doing a mini bow tying video (eeekkkk!) if anyone would be interested??

arty angle,
and inside I used the top note again finished a little more versamark
I hope Allie enjoyed her birthday and that she received plenty of handmade cards too :-)
Back tomorrow with more Razzleberry loveliness, don't forget this offer is only on 'till the end of August so if you "need" anything now is fab time to order ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

A Couple of Thank-You Cards

Good morning,
Apologies for my absence yesterday, I have been busy designing and prepping for Owl Punch Class on Monday and Tuesday next week,
ONLY A COUPLE OF SPACES LEFT ON MONDAY NOW, email me to reserve your place asap!!
I am running really late this month with the charity class last week and up-coming shows too! Just a little reminder I am at Lyndhurst Community Centre again this Sunday, do pop in if you are in the area, I will be sure to take plenty to see ;-) and not forgetting The Steam and Craft Show at Netley Marsh the weekend after (22, 23, 24th July), link in side bar, there is plenty to see and do there, sure to be a great day out for all the family :-D
Anyway, I like to add a card with my orders (or just after if they come straight to you) and this is what I made last week for a couple of ladies,
Crumb Cake base with same coloured layer which I embossed with Square Lattice folder after I stamped the sentiment from Thank-You Kindly. Finished with some yummy wide striped grosgrain ribbon to finish, I also did up a little bag of ribbon for each of the ladies ;-)
Well, that's me for today, short and sweet I am afraid, I will be back tomorrow with Nicky's card from last week,
Look forward to seeing you here!

Good Morning,
I have been wanting to play with my Little Additions stamps some more for a while now and just haven't had enough time but a friend needed a baby card and so it was just the perfect excuse! I love this set, it is so cute! Page 20 of the mini catalogue if you want a look at the whole set, there is a lot to see too ;-)
I made a base of Crumb Cake with a Marina Mist DSP (from the subtles stack) layer topped with another layer of Crumb Cake with the name and date printed from the computer,
I inked the photo frames with the same colours plus a line of Daffodil Delight too, it looks very pale in this pic though,
I also used my markers to ink the cot too,
and some yummy wide striped grosgrain tied in a knot to finish the outside,
and I did much the same on the inside, sentiment inside is from the Level 2 set Something to Celebrate, it is also from the mini,
So, I have still got loads to do today to be ready for Sunday, I hope to see you there! but I will be back here tomorrow with something very different from this,
Thanks for popping by today,

Mojo for Hubby

Hello!
I have made Hubby's birthday card already so he has been banned from looking at my blog until after Wednesday (not that he does as far as I know??!) I have used this weeks Mojo sketch #178 even though we are nearly at next weeks sketch ;-) anyways, here is what I made using the gorgeous stamp set Engraved Greetings, a great set for boys and girls...
DSP is Newspaper prints, card base is textured Basic Black card stock with a Cherry Cobbler circle, I have also used some of the yummy wide striped ribbon, the Distressing Tool and Crystal Effects.

Inside I added another (retired) star brad,
and as it is his birthday I made him a matching milk carton and filled it with white chocolate jazzies, now I really hope he doesn't read this!!

and finally a close up(ish) of the Milk Carton,
A tutorial for making this A4 size carton is HERE

Well, that's today's card for you, I hope you have a lovely Sunday whatever you are up to,

Subtle Summers

Good Morning,
I have a very busy day today again, a long list of jobs to do! I hope at some point to make a card but I am not holding out too much hope as I have been trying for about 4 days now and my mojo appears to have disappeared completely!! Luckily I have a card I made last week to share with you today ;-) now, I used Sweet Summer (again) but this time I made a card in Subtle colours of the Blue, Pink and Green colourway I used before. So Pear Pizzaz, Pink Pirouette and Marina Mist for this one,

Super soft wide striped grosgrain ribbon with a button from the subtles collection wrapped around it,

sentiment from Basic Phrases punched with Word Window and finished with a Gem Brad,

and an arty angle to finish,

If you would like this (or any other FREE set from the SAB catalogue) then email me with your order :-D
Have a great stampin' day
Hugs,
