So Santa with Cookies!

Hello!
Today I want to share an adorable card using the So Santa stamp set. I particularly adore this cookie cooking Santa image!! And I have quite a few people that I can think of that will love this as their card this Christmas ;-)
And who doesn't love a stack of cookies?
I coloured him with blends and die cut the image using my stitched edge framelits.
Added to a Fresh Fig card base to complete with a matching coloured sentiment.
So, have you noticed this stamp set yet? I think it's just so cute :-)
I'll be back with another card tomorrow and I do hope to see you here.

Signs Of Santa Pop Up Box Card

Hello there,
Today's card is a Box card or a Pop Up card. I've heard it called both of these names and I thought this style of card would work perfectly with this stamp set! So we made this card (and two others) at my Signs Of Santa class last week. The ladies were pleasantly surprised at how easy this style of card was to make too ;-) Let's take a closer look shall we...
I coloured these adorable little characters with my Blends...
...and added them onto the box inserts at different heights
Finished with some of the lovely flocked paper from the matching Santa's Workshop speciality DSP.
and of course it folds flat to fit in a 6"x6" envelope!
So, I was thinking I might do a little video on how to make this card... watch this space :-D
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I'll be back soon with another make.

A Spirited Snowmen Snow Angel

Hello there!
I have a super cute card for you today using the Spirited Snowmen stamps and for this card I coloured this guy in with my Blends again. How adorable is this little snowman?
I think the image is supposed to be sort of star-jumping but I added "snow" around his hands and feet to make him look like he's laying in the snow making an angel. Well, that's what I hope I did...
For the background I stamped snow on a piece of Balmy Blue card and wrapped it with copper thread before adding it to a same colour card base. Topped with the coloured image, layered onto some Lovely Lipstick card to finish :-)
So, that's all for today from me. We have football again this morning, weather permitting, and I might even make a little roast dinner later too ;-)
Have a wonderful Sunday, whatever you are up to.

Inspire. Create. Challenges #27 Celebration Theme

Hello!
Today is the day for a new challenge with Inspire. Create and the theme this fortnight is "celebration" which is just perfect as last weekend we went to our very good friends daughters wedding!
So, of course I made a card but I also decided to make a personalised Wedding frame too.
Their theme was Nautical and this is both the card and frame together to start...
Let's see the card a bit closer first of all. I started by stamping {on thick white card} the anchor image from Guy Greetings (retired) and some little hearts (Jar of Love), stars and tiny spots (Hearts come Home) to fill in the gaps before die cutting the "Mr & Mrs" letters from the panel.
I used the large heart from Little Twinkle for the background on a navy card panel and heat embossed it in clear for a subtle shine.
Then I added the letters using foam strips which made it super quick to do. Add some navy gingham ribbon, decorate the box and inside panel and that's the card done!
So then I started the frame!
I heat embossed the cake from Cake Soiree in gold and coloured with a blender pen and ink pads to match the colour scheme. More anchors from Guy Greetings and of course the die cut "love" from the Sunshine Wishes dies over some stars from the Little Twinkle set. Finally the "Mr & Mrs" stamped image is a retired set that I just couldn't part with ;-)
I added the couples name and wedding date at the top of the frame surrounded by hearts from the Little Elephant stamp set. All finished with a few clear sequins and some more ribbon.
And once more together for you :-)
So, that's all from me today, I hope you enjoyed seeing today's creations! If you have any questions then please do ask in the comments :-)
