Tropical Chic Card for an 18th Birthday!

Hello there,
Today is my hubbys birthday but, true to form, I was up 'till late last night making his card so I don't have that photographed yet to show you ;-) Instead I have a card I made for my friends daughters birthday recently using the Tropical Chic stamp set and some glittery numbers, of course...
I decided on a wreath pattern using the leaves from the stamp set in Tranquil Tide, then I added some die cut flowers which I inked first with Flirty Flamingo then I added some Lovely Lipstick ink using a sponge dauber to get this two tone effect.
I layered up the 18 using matching Lovely Lipstick card before topping it with some glittered numbers.
Add a touch of tinsel trim and a few sequins to finish today's card :-)
So, that's all from me for today. I'm going to try really hard to write another post this evening, ready for Sunday but it's going to be a busy old day here :-)
I'll definitely be back really soon though as I have tons f cards to share,
Happy Stampin!

Die Cut Thanks with Needlepoint Elements Dies.

Hi!
I am back with a fun card today using just the dies from the Needle and Thread bundle and I teamed it with the Well Written dies to make this CaS card...
I started by die cutting lots of the loop elements which was much quicker than you might think as there are actually two of these dies in the Needlepoint die pack ;-)
I then die cut a single, velum tag before topping it with a sentiment, stacked three times, from the Well Written dies.
Layer with some black card and add the sentiment with some white twine and finish with a few sequins.
So, that's all from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another make for you.
'Till then, happy stamping!

Fable Friends for an Inspire Create Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to another Inspire. Create challenge post!
This week it's a pretty, spring inspired colour challenge using Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Mint Macaron and Whisper White. I did take the liberty of adding some Crumb Cake too as I thought this image from the lovely Fable Friends stamp set would be perfect...
I used my blends to colour this little guy in before de cutting the image with my stitched edge framelits and layering it onto some (retired) green glitter paper.
And to finish I added some of the wooden leaf embellishments from the Sale-a-Bration choice - Butterfly Elements, free with a £45 spend.
I also embossed the top layer of this card with the subtles embossing folder before adding a little spotty ribbon bow and some enamel shapes to finish.
So, what do you think? We'll be using this set in my March class (more details HERE) if you'd like to join us please do drop me a message :-)
OK, I'll be back soon with another make but for more ideas using this colour combo head over to see what amazing makes the rest of the DT have made HERE and then share your ideas over there too ;-)
Happy stamping!

Navy and Old Olive with the Needle and Thread Bundle

Hello!
Man, I'm so far behind with this blogging malarky that this post published without me having time to even write it! My bad!
So, this is another Needle and Thread card we made at class, I love this pretty paper and of course the colours are just right up my street too, take a look...
There was a whole bunch of stamping and die cutting for this make accented with some of the outline die cuts and some Old Olive linen thread.
Love this stitched edge die that works with the Pretty Label Punch. And you can see much better the stitched floral die used for the background behind the flowers here too!
OK, so if you are seeing this for the first time hello and thank you and if you are just here to read the words to go with the pictures you've already seen then thank you for coming back! lol!
