My Christmas gifts for my SU! Team The Southern Belles ;-)

Hello,
I hope you have had a fab Christmas with your nearest and dearest. We have had a quiet time but very enjoyable!
So, today I am going to share with you the gifts I sent to my downline for Christmas and I will be back tomorrow with the card I made just for the team :-)
So, to start I made some Lavender bath salts to relax after all the hard work they have been doing this year!
I die cut a bauble from DSP using the holiday framelits, inking the edges and adding a sparkly star too. I also printed some basic instructions onto Vellum Card and die cut these out so they sat neatly behind the paper bauble
the mix is simply Epsom Salts and dried lavender petals, it makes you skin feel so soft once you have soaked in this and of course it smells delish too ;-)
Finally I added different (retired) ribbon to all the little bags
and I also made each team member a pair of stud earrings, using the resin flowers we carry, on sterling silver posts, so cute!
and here they are all together!
Well, I hope they all received their gifts in time and had a wonderful Christmas too,
Thanks for stopping by today

3 Christmas Treats!

Hello there,
I hope your Christmas preparations are in full swing? I am having a little get together today with friends but I just wanted to pop on here and share some Christmas paper crafting with you all first! and seeing as I have been neglecting you lovely blog readers I am going to hit you with a triple whammy today!!
So, the first 2 are cards which we made at my last class this year, this lovely one with curled paper which I originally designed for Making Cards Magazine, here we made it with Candlelight Christmas DSP
Sweater trim bow and don't you love that acetate background??
and a little star made from glimmer paper at the fold of the sentiment,
Now, we also made this at the same class, I had chatted with one of my ladies and she wanted to try out Heat and Stick powder so this is what I came up with. It uses the Ornament Keepsakes stamps and matching framelits as well as the piercing guide too, both from the Autumn/Winter catalogue
very sparkly Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the bauble
and a bow (of course) for this special card
and finally for you today I have little cracker (candy wrapper die). This was a kit I provided for my stampers 6 club last month and we added a pair of punched mittens to decorate, cute huh?
Right, I'm off to finish preparations for this afternoons party,
Happy stampin' from me for today,
Big Hugs,

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas card

Hello,
I have a super quick but very sparkly card to share with you today.
We used the woodgrain background stamp for added texture and it was a great card for a stamp a stack this December, and nice and slim to post too ;-) I have loved using this stamp (Heart of Christmas) this Christmas with markers for a multi-coloured look...
a bit of spritzing with the Crumb Cake marker (again;-))
and some gorgeous glimmer paper in red and silver with a small punched star too
OK, back tomorrow with a special Christmas card from my last class this year.
Thanks for visiting and k-e-e-p wrapping ;-)

Thank-You cards From My Heart

Hello there,
I have a really quick and (I think) beautiful Thank-you card tonight, I am sure we will all have a lot to be making and sending very soon and this little card is perfect and it's flat too so posting will be easy ;-)
I made a base from Bravo Burgundy and added a simple Vanilla top to it, the gorgeous stamp (from the set From My Heart) is so intricate that I wanted it to make it's statement without distraction...
I stamped it in Basic Grey and simply added a little colour with Cherry Cobbler for the heart with a blender pen,
A spray from a Crumb Cake marker with the spritzing tool and a wash of Gold shimmer paint mixed in alcohol finishes off the vintage theme perfectly
and a few together to finish today
I hope you have enjoyed today's card, I still have Christmas ones to make so I better get back to it eh??
Thanks for reading today and if you want to place an order then I am popping a last minute one in on Tuesday this week, message me to add to it ;-)

Mitten Christmas Trees

Hello there,
We made today's card at one of my stamp a stacks this Christmas. I just love using the border stamp from Make a Mitten to decorate the Christmas tree die cuts from Scentsational season, I think the tree is my most used die this Christmas card making season!!
Today's card uses a colour combo of Island Indigo, Pool Party and Midnight Muse with the balance of Crumb Cake and of course silver bling stars!!
Most of this card was stuck flat so it would post cheaply (always a factor nowadays ;-)) but we did have to add a bit of dimension to the little stars!
This card is a great way to use up the scraps of card you can never throw away too ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today, I'm off to visit FIL now and decorations are going up tomorrow too, very late for us this year but it we seem to get later and later every year!!
Back tomorrow, I promise!

Snow Festival Tree

Hello there
I hope all your Christmas preparations are coming along nicely?? I have still got l-o-a-d-s to do!! Anyway, I have a card to share with you using the most popular tutorial on my blog, the folded Christmas tree (link at the end of the post or in side bar <<)
To change it up I have used the new Snow Festival DSP from the Autumn/Winter catty. I am placing another order in the next couple of days if you would like to add to it from either catalogues and can collect from me then there will be no postage costs or alternatively you can have any amount of items delivered directly to your home for a flat fee of just £4.95. So, back to the card, I made the tree from half a scallop circle and added it to a layer of crumb cake embossed with the perfect polka dots folder which I inked with white craft ink for a snowy feel ;-)
I finished the card off with another layer of DSP and a limeade bakers twine bow with tags from Tiny Tags stamp set.
Well, I hope you like today's card and I will be back soon with lots more Christmas craftyness :-)
Thanks for visiting me today and

Heart of Christmas and Candlelight Christmas

Hello there
I am here today with another Christmas card for you made with the wonderful stamp "Heart of Christmas"
I love this simple and elegant stamp, it is perfect for so many styles of card and here I have made it the focal point of a wreath, the time honoured classic for Christmas!
The outer leaves and side panel are from the stunning Candlelight Christmas Speciality DSP (from the Autumn/Winter catty) with the leaves punched using the bird punch.
I added rhinestones which I coloured with a red sharpie for berries and finished with a simple satin bow (retired ribbon) and a spritz with the Crumb Cake marker to age it too.
I hope you have liked today's card and I will be back soon with more for you
'till then, Stampin' Hugs from me,

Southern Belles Get Together

Hello,
This last Saturday some of my lovely team came over for a pre-Christmas get together. We talked and laughed about all things SU! and more. I had a lovely time and I think, so did they ;-)
We also did some crafting and made these 2 cards that could be shared at a workshop, the original version and a stepped up one with more product. We used the Friendship Preserves stamp set in a Baja Breeze and Summer Starfruit colour combo,
Using the rock and roll technique for the main image with Vintage Faceted Buttons and Summer Starfruit ribbon on the stepped up version, we also spritzed the card front with Vanilla Smooch Spritz but it hasn't shown up on the pic here very well, soz ;-)
and we also made a 3d Christmas ornament in a choice of colours, here is the Real Red version with Wild Wasabi ribbon,
Pink Pirouette version with Rich Razzleberry stitched ribbon
and my favourite the Pool Party version with Night of Navy co-ordinating ribbon
and here they are all together :-)
Well, that's all from me today, I hope you have enjoyed the projects and I will be back soon with more craftyness to share with you!
For more info on joining my team please feel free to email me :-)

Welcome to the team Tessa

Hello there,
I hope this post finds you all well? I am lucky enough to have added to my team recently and with the fab paper promotion I'm sure that Tessa (you can check out here blog HERE, she already has some stunning cards on there) will be having loads of fun especially in her first 6 months ;-)
So, I made her a little welcome gift as I do for everyone who joins my team and remember I am always looking for new team members to join us :-)))
To start I covered her a little note book as every girl needs a list eh??
I covered it with the yummy Natural Compositions DSP, I am loving this paper!
I hope Tessa gets some as one of her FREE packs!
I added some gorgeous ribbon in Crumb Cake and Raspberry Ripple to the edge
and added 2 Raspberry Ripple butterflies punched from the In Colour DSP stack adorned with Vintage Faceted Buttons, such glamour dahling! ;-)
and I also made a matching card (of course)
same paper and colours (to match) but I added a yummy resin flower to the centre of the bow
and here they are both together.
I usually send my new recruits a selection of ribbon to get them started on their SU! journey too but Tessa had just bought a couple of the ribbon shares from me instead I gave her a Colour Coach, another "essential" tool for any demo ;-)
Welcome to the team Tessa *mwah*
So, if you are interested in joining SU! and would like to chat about being in my team then I would love to hear from you. You can email me HERE for a chat. Or join up HERE with me directly :-)
Anyway, I'm off to do jobs,
Speak soon and thanks for stopping by today

Easy Events by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I have another Christmas card for you today using Easy Events, I hate to admit to this stamp being brand new when I reached to use it, I had only used the duck from this cute a versatile set! Shame on me!!
Anyway, I wanted to stamp straight onto Crumb Cake card and I was really happy with the end result, what do you think??
I added a Champagne glimmer star to the bakers twine
and we coloured the image in using a blender pen, adding white shimmer paint to the berries to make them sparkle, essential at Christmas!!
Well, that's me for today. I am getting together with my lovely girls, The Southern Belles.
I am so looking forward to seeing them together for our Christmas get together
Back with more cards and news of our party ;-)
