Mitten Christmas Trees

Hello there,
We made today's card at one of my stamp a stacks this Christmas. I just love using the border stamp from Make a Mitten to decorate the Christmas tree die cuts from Scentsational season, I think the tree is my most used die this Christmas card making season!!
Today's card uses a colour combo of Island Indigo, Pool Party and Midnight Muse with the balance of Crumb Cake and of course silver bling stars!!
Most of this card was stuck flat so it would post cheaply (always a factor nowadays ;-)) but we did have to add a bit of dimension to the little stars!
This card is a great way to use up the scraps of card you can never throw away too ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today, I'm off to visit FIL now and decorations are going up tomorrow too, very late for us this year but it we seem to get later and later every year!!
Back tomorrow, I promise!

Trees from Scentsational Season

Hello there,
I am back!! After a whole lot of trouble with blogger uploading pics I should be back to regular postings from now on :-) Apologies for the break in service and just when I have loads to share too!!
So, to make up for my absence I am going to share 2 cards with you today both using my most used die and stamp from Scentsational Season, the Tree! I love this (and the 'lil gingerbread man too).
Now, my first card is in Sahara Sand and Night of Navy, a lovely colour combo I think...
Sentiment is from Teeny Tint Wishes and the dies are the Window Frames Framelits which can be found HERE, to order any of the products I have used on my blog then please email me for details :-)
a cute star on top of the tree was made using the punch from Merry Minis punch pack and Champagne Glimmer paper
And the second card for you today is using Gumball Green and white, a very refreshing combo I think. I embossed the white using the Northern Flurries folder and added a drop of silver Dazzling Details glitter glue to the centres and some points of each snowflake which I then spread out using my finger for a more subtle effect
the tree has a matching die which I think is just brill,  no more "fussy cutting"
and a perfect way to add a touch of ribbon is to staple it to the card, it's also not bulky so perfect for Christmas cards which have to be posted
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's cards and I will be back tomorrow with more festive makes
That's all for now,

Scentsational Season by SU! Gifts and a Card

Hello again,
Get me, 2 days in a row!! Ha ha!
Today I have a couple of cute projects to share with you using the brilliant Scentsational Season bundle from the Autumn/Winter SU! catalogue. I love that there are matching dies that go with this stamp set, great for lots of easy makes ;-)
This card was made at my All Day Class last week (and later this week too)
Loving the ribbon sliders on the sweater trim,
cute gingerbread men with glitter glue buttons
And now, for this next project I made some cool pencil holders, I am going to make a load of these for Halloween too (obviously not with this stamp set but more on those soon though)
 'lil gingerbread men
I stamped the background using Versamark and inked the edges with white craft ink before stitching to make a pocket
But I didn't just make gingerbread men ones, I made a selection of designs using this lovely set :-)
So, if you would like to get your hands on this bundle then please just email me for details on how you can get a hold of them.
Thanks for stopping by today,

Another All Day Class

Hello,
After last weeks very successful All Day Class I have had a couple of people ask, as they couldn't make it to the first date, if I am doing another one before Christmas? As I haven't any more dates planned for new all day events I have decided to run it again for one more day :-) The next date is going to be the 4th October running from 9 till 3, so during the school day, this is the same amount of time as the Saturday class just an earlier start :-)))
The cost is £30 and you will get over £25 worth of products plus full instructions and use of all the equipment needed plus as much or as little help as you need too. I can  also send you the kit by post but you would need to provide your own stamps (or purchase them from me) to make the exact same cards.
Closing date to reserve your place is MONDAY 24th SEPTEMBER, this is so your kit arrives in plenty of time, message me today sarah-janerae@sky.com
So, I thought I might share with you some of the projects from the class....
These cards are from  the stamps a stack section of the class and show a sneak peek at the 4 cards you would be making two of,
some Gingerbread men from Scentsational Season
3d Ornament using Ornament Keepsakes set
  a blingy snowflake
  and some cute mittens :-)
So, if you would like to come along for some crafty fun then email me today for details :-)
