Inspire. Create challenge #54

Hello!
And welcome to a new Inspire. Create challenge post!
I made this for my son’s birthday recently and it perfectly ties in with this fortnights challenge which is “Die Cutting”
For the background I’ve used the Piece Of Cake stamp set creating an ombré effect in blues. I started with the darkest night of navy at the bottom (cake stands) then added blueberry bushel cakes, with the next cake stand layer stamped in seaside spray and I topped them with balmy blue cakes and candles...

Because our ink pads are water based I could use my blends to colour them in, adding even more of an ombré effect to the card!
Then I topped the images with a die cut name and the all important numbers on a vellum circle!
Tip: colour whisper white card in an ombré effect before die cutting.
Finish with a few glitter enamel spots and something rhinestones before layering onto navy card and then a white card base and that’s it, done! For more inspiring ideas from the DT head to the challenge blog HERE. And we’d love to see your die cut cards too so don’t forget to share!
Thanks for looking today :-)
