Cookie Cutter Christmas and Cable Knit Embossing Folder Tag Card.

Hello there,
So sorry I've been quiet over here for the last week or so, family life and work is so busy here right now :-s . When I'm really pushed for time (like this week) I do try to share my crafty journey on Instagram (plus facebook and twitter) so if you want to see what I'm up to most days, I'd love for you to follow me on your favorite social media platform :-)
So, I have a fun card today using the Santa from Cookie Cutter Christmas teamed with the Cable knit embossing folder, (this folder is one of my favorite things from the catalogue) to make  a quick and easy card...
I stamped this fella in basic grey and coloured him with blender pens, adding Mica Flakes to his jacket and hat trims. Ooops, I just realised I missed adding his bobble on his hat! That's especially bad as that's the background I stamped on the tag! Too late for these photos but I'll go add it now!
I do love a tag on a card. It's a tried and tested layout but it just works so well, don't you think?

OK, that's all from me for today, remember today is your very last chance to grab 4 for 3 on DSP...
I'll be back tomorrow with a card and details of a new offer. I have already uploaded the coordinating video to YouTube so if you want a sneak peek, take a look over there ;-)
Thanks for looking today!

A Cookie Cutter Christmas, Christmas Bears Card!

Hello!
Following on from yesterdays post (with tips video) and the bear from Cookie Cutter Christmas that I made into a baby card, I have an actual Christmas card for you today ;-) I stamped these little fellows using tip top taupe and teamed them with some "This Christmas" DSP....
My Tip Top Taupe ink pad is really juicy so I definitely had to press the excess ink down to get a good image (see video) but don't they look cute with their red glimmer bows? I heat embossed the sentiment with white powder to make it pop on the green paper.
Add a couple of banners (I do love how they can just fill in an empty spot on most cards!) topped with a little ribbon bow and we're done!
Well, thats all from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card, 'till then, happy stampin'!

Cookie Cutter Christmas Baby Card with a Teddy Bear Tips Video Tutorial!

Hello there and happy Saturday to you!
I hope you have a fun weekend planned, I'm off work this weekend and have a ton of crafty projects lined up - we'll see how many I get done, right?!
So, today I wanted to share with you that Cookie Cutter Christmas is a set that is not just for Christmas and I have this cute baby card for you to see...
As you may have noticed, I love the Cable Knit Folder and doesn't it make a great "baby blanket" background here?
This bear is super cute but I figured out just a few things that make working with it a lot easier, so I made you a little video! Take a look...
Inside, I stamped off the sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set.
And finish with some pink ribbon topped with an enamel shape.
TIP: Use a dab of fine tip glue pen glue to secure this enamel shape to the ribbon securely.
So, if you watched the video you would have seen a sneak peek at another card using the bears from this set. I'll share more pictures of that card tomorrow with you, so do pop back then!
Thanks for looking today :-)

Using Cookie Cutter Christmas by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I have another Cookie Cutter Christmas card to share with you today and I used the sweet little santa from the set for this make. I teamed him with the This Christmas DSP from the annual catalogue to make this card...
I heat embossed this Santa onto vanilla card using slate embossing powder (retired) you could use silver or white instead though, then coloured him in using blender pens and ink pads. I used the layering circle framelits to make a mat with a scalloped copper foil background.
Copper embossing powder makes the sentiment from the Christmas Magic set pop.
So that's todays fun and easy card. I think this one could be easily mass produced and is nice and flat for posting too!
What do you think? Let me know in the comments...
Back tomorrow with another card, 'till then, happy stampin'!
