Hello there and happy Saturday to you!
I hope you have a fun weekend planned, I'm off work this weekend and have a ton of crafty projects lined up - we'll see how many I get done, right?!
So, today I wanted to share with you that Cookie Cutter Christmas is a set that is not just for Christmas and I have this cute baby card for you to see...
As you may have noticed, I love the Cable Knit Folder and doesn't it make a great "baby blanket" background here?
This bear is super cute but I figured out just a few things that make working with it a lot easier, so I made you a little video! Take a look...
Inside, I stamped off the sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set.
And finish with some pink ribbon topped with an enamel shape.
TIP: Use a dab of fine tip glue pen glue to secure this enamel shape to the ribbon securely.
So, if you watched the video you would have seen a sneak peek at another card using the bears from this set. I'll share more pictures of that card tomorrow with you, so do pop back then!
Thanks for looking today :-)

What a great idea that you came up with for the Bears ears. It just takes one persons idea and we all go 'why didn't I think of that'. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful idea with the rest of us stampers.
ReplyDeleteSarah-Jane, the idea with the bear's ears is brilliant. I definitely will give that a try next time. At the moment I am still struggling with the solid stamps from this set, the bear and the ginger bread man. I never ever get such a smooth stamped image like you got there. I got a lot of tips. I use the mat underneath. I washed any maybe residue away. It's a bit better since I went softly over it with a nail file and the best image I will get when I press the stamp first onto my versamark ink pad. But the result is never as smooth as it is on your pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Scotland, Nessie
Hi Nessie, thanks for stopping by! I found if the ink pad was even quite wet then the solid images don't stamp well, definitely try pushing the ink down with your bone folder (or a spoon or something) and try stamping then. This worked for me really well - teamed with the mat, so hopefully it will help you too, let me know how you get on xxx
DeleteBeautiful card Sarah-Jane. I had planned something similar to the z fold Gingerbread man card you did (which I loved) for my granddaughters 2nd birthday later this week but using pink bears like the one you used today. But alas life events took over last week and I didn't complete my order so now won't be here in time ;>( Oh well guess that's one for next year, thanks to your inspiration. Genius tip for the ears, you clever lady. Many thanks for all you share, I get so much inspiration from you. Take good care.
