Neutral Baby Prints card,

Hello there,
Today I will be mostly finishing off getting ready for the school fair at Zoe and Zacks school tomorrow. I have made l-o-a-d-s of bits for this fair so if you are in the area (Dibden Purlieu, near the New Forest, message me for directions if needed) then please poop by and say "hi".
Anyway, I have just nipped on here to share another Baby Prints card with you today, this one is in Sahara Sand so perfect if you are not sure which "flavour" the happy couple are expecting ;-)
I stamped the hands in sahara sand ink then again using the stamp-a-ma-jig with versamark.
Heat embossing then with scented embossing powder :-)
and a neutral button with vanilla 3mm tafetta ribbon to decorate the sentiment, cute without being too girly (or too boyish!)
Right, back to the craft fair preparations,
Hope to see you there, if not I will be back here tomorrow sometime with some of my makes :-)

Stampin' Up Mixed Bunch butterfly

Hello there,
Late again today as I had my last class this morning with some lovely ladies using the mixed bunch stamp set and I took my poor desperate for a walk dog out to the forest this afternoon!
I had such a lovely time at class with all the ladies again! Chatting, making cards and of course cake :-)
So, I am here to share the last card for this class with you today. Its a firm favourite colour combo: Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and a hint of Rose Red for the butterfly,
I love how this flower makes the butterfly, so quick and easy
and a little pool party ruffled ribbon finishes the top corner off perfectly
Well, I have just a few spaces left for my next class, Just one on Monday 9th and two left on Wednesday 11th July so please hurry if you would like to book onto either of these days, more spots on Saturday 7th though :-) We will be using the super cute and very trendy Up, Up and Away stamp set at this class. More pictures to follow this week.
Thanks for looking today

Father's Day/Men's Class Cards Close Look!

Hello there,
As I promised I am back today with a much closer look at last weeks class, we made 3 Men's/Father's Day cards which all went down really well with al the ladies who made them :-) And if you have still to make your Father's day card (you better get on with it! ;-) ) erm, I mean I hope these inspire you, ha ha!
So, we made a little origami shirt, if you would like to make one then just Google Origami Shirts for hundreds of tutorials! Background uses Trendy Trees with versamark. I love Grey and Limeade together at the moment, in fact my lounge is these colours!
Mini brads are used for the buttons on the shirt
Next up was a shirt card, this ribbon is just the perfect size for the tie don't you think? Dad is from the brill For My Family set and we heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder to make it stand out.
a simple sentiment inside
And finally a punch art Golfing card to finish, I love that we now have clouds from Up, Up and Away for this card as well as this sentiment which is from there too.
Pennant punch flag flapping in the breeze ;-)
If you would like to come along to the next class then please email me to book a spot, we are using the lovely Mixed Bunch stamp set with it's fab matching punch. More pics and details to follow tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting today and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

How to die cut an image larger than your Stampin' Up! Framelits -Tutorial

Hello!
As promised I am here today with a little tutorial to share how I managed to get my balloons over the top of the framelit edge! I hope it helps some-one out there :-)
To start, lay the framelit over your image, making sure it is correctly positioned all around
mark with a pencil either side of the overhanging image, inside the framelit
cut exactly along the pencil line and then around the image
*Top Tip-I like to leave a small white border, as shown, I think it looks better and is definitely more forgiving if you wobble when cutting ;-)
pull the image over hang over the top of the framelit, ensuring the bottom edges are correctly positioned and die cut as normal,
once it is cut out, rub firmly with a bone folder on the reverse to get rid of most of the crease from the die
adhere to your card after inking the edges if desired.
I hope this helps you to get the best from your framelits and if you would like to order any then please do get in touch sarah-janerae@sky.com  ;-)

Stampin' Up! Pedal Presents and Framelits

Hello there,
I have another card today using Pedal Presents, loving this cute little bike!
I used a base of Pear Pizazz with Nursery Nest DSP,
{{which is in the 4 for 3 promotion this month too ;-)}}
See here I used a framelit to die cut out the bike, but.... my balloons were too tall! Hmmm, come back tomorrow for a mini tutorial on how to get around this little problem ;-)
and an arty angle to finish today's post
Right, I have a night off work tonight and so I am making tea early(ish) and going to have a nice relaxing night tonight :-))))
Thanks for stopping by today

Hello there,
I had a lovely day yesterday with some of my brilliant team, we chatted and made cards, ate and chatted some more! If you would like to find out more about being in my team then why not drop me a line? sarah-janerae@sky*dot*com I would love to talk through any questions or queries you have about being a SU! demo, the BEST job in the world! :-)
Anyway, Angela recently promoted and so I made her a little card just to say well done, I used the pretty Pedal presents and the embedded embossing technique
A lush white satin bow, I made a little video tutorial HERE
I used a blender pen with my ink pads to colour the bike, highlighting with my white craft ink at the end,
and finally an arty angle to finish
I hope you like today's post, I have class this morning so I'd better be off,

Stampin' Up Aviary Owls

Hello!
I have had a lovely class this morning making mens cards :-) and before I take the little ones out this afternoon I thought I would pop on here to share a girly card with you.
These cards use the same design as the book from the other day. 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches make the clouds and this one has the cute hearts embossing folder (Adorning Accents)  used behind
The little owls are from Aviary and they are sat on a line from Little Additions, Clouds are from Up, Up and Away, I am getting loads of use from these clouds ;-)
I also made it in Marina Mist with a Pool Party front too
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's cards,
Before I go though I just wanted to say I have just 2 places left on my stampers 6 (virtual hostess) club, see THIS POST for more details
and then message me to join the fun :-)
