Make a Wreath from a Pine Branch using SU! Wonderland stamps: with a Video Tutorial :-)

Hello,

I have this weeks Tuesday Tutorial for you this evening sharing this card and how I made the wreath using the pine branch from the set.

I designed this card for class and filmed the video early this week (before class) thinking it would be fairly straight forward for the ladies. I had even made a little written/stamped tips sheet for them but it turned into the "tricky card" of the class; gathering much chatter! So, hopefully you will find the video to be useful ;-)
I love the two tone effect you get by using the markers to ink this branch.
Pretty Gold Vellum from the Wonderland stack
And some old faithful linen thread, can't live without this! It's just perfect for mens cards and rustic Christmas ones too ;-)
So, lets see the video on how to make this card shall we?
Please do remember let me know if you have a go and of course if this tutorial works for you remember to share your makes with me too :-)
One last picture to finish today...
Thanks so much for visiting today,

Perpetual Birthday Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! for a dear friends Birthday Card.

Good evening!
Today has been a fun day, I had my first class since the summer holidays and after a much needed break it was really great to see some of the ladies back to class today - with more booked in over the coming weeks :-)
And remember, you can join us too! For fun, friendly cardmaking classes near Southampton. See HERE for dates or drop me a line HERE :-)
So, todays card is a card I made for my dear friend Laura's birthday recently using the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set in Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand teamed with some cute, punched flowers. Have a peek...
I used the Petit Petals flower punch with English Garden DSP. Add some little silver glimmer mini punched flowers and a few sequins to create these little clusters.
All links will be at the end of this post tomorrow ;-) Links are now at the end of the post! :-)
This sentiment is from the stamp set Sprinkles On Top.
Sad to say this was it's first inking - but it's definitely not it's the last. More coming soon.... ;-)
 a side view...
Of course I also added a few butterflies and flowers inside too :-)
And a top view to finish today
Well, I started this post much earlier tonight, (before work) but sadly just didn't get a chance to finish it! Sorry for the delay. I'll pop all the links on tomorrow as I am off to bed now :-) Hopefully you have enjoyed this (most of a) post this evening though?
I'll be back tomorrow with a card and a video tutorial for you as well  as the links, but 'till then,

Notebook Gifts using You're Sublime by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
First of all today I want to share with you an exciting new series I have planned which is starting next Saturday! For the first time ever I'm going to be doing a 12 weeks of Christmas Series :-) I shall be making a special project each week that could be used for Christmas and many will include a video tutorial too! So please be sure to set a reminder to come see this fun series!
Back now to todays post though, I'm sharing with you a couple of notebooks I covered as a little thank-you gift for my stamp club gals. I picked up some cute, hardcover notebooks in M&S and gave them a little makeover using the retro caravan from You're Sublime, take a look....
I used Thick White card for the front cover and kept the colours muted and similar to the book binding.
The natural dip in the spine allowed the thick twine to sit in place (although I did add a dot of Crystal Effects behind the knot too)
A wooden heart and sequin was a spare from the Watercolour Wishes kit. I adored making this kit!
With the stamped heart from Watercolour Words and the sentiment is from You're Sublime too.
 Some more thick twine :-)
A close up of the watercoloured caravan
and one more picture together to finish today
So, I hope you enjoyed todays post. I am off to cut card ready for tomorrows class and hopefully film Tuesdays video too!
See you tomorrow!
