12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes. Week 5: Mini Kinder Fingers Box

Hello there!
And welcome to week 5's Crafty Christmas Make. I can't believe we are on week 5 already! So, for this week's tutorial I have designed this super cute little box to fit in two of the treat size Kinder Fingers using the Season of Cheer DSP, let's take a look...
These are the two original boxes I designed, one in centimetres and one in inches. This week the finished boxes are so similar in size that you would barely notice any difference
And here are all the boxes including the one I made in the video :-)
Shall we take a look....

And here are the measurements for those who prefer written instructions. As usual they make much more sense once you have seen the video and of course there are a few tips included in there too ;-)
In Centimetres:
13.5cm x 11cm
Score at: 1.5cm, 6cm, 7.5cm, 12cm.
Flip and score at: 1.5cm and 9.5cm
In Inches:
5+3/8" x 4+3/8"
Score at: 5/8", 2+3/8", 3", 4+3/4"
Flip and score at: 5/8" and 3+3/4"

In the video I decorate the box with a Christmas Greetings thinlits sentiment and gold glimmer paper but the other two boxes (below here) use sentiments from the Peaceful Pines bundle (15% off when purchased as a bundle) but you can of course purchase the stamps and dies separately if you wish! (see HERE for a quick video tutorial using just the dies)

And one final picture of the last box today

OK, s that's todays post done. I'll be back tomorrow with Day 5 of my 7 Days of All Day Class Cards series! It's a big old Christmas mix up this week on here!
'till tomorrow...

7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 4: Flurry Of Wishes Embossed Snowflakes.

Hello,
and welcome to todays pair of cards! We have had a busy day here with check ups the dentist this morning and then pumpkin carving this afternoon with a whole heap of other things in between ;-)
So, I'd like to share todays cards. I think these might be my favourite card from this class... but, that could easily change by tomorrow of course! Let's see and of course you can let me know what you think too, in the comments...
This pair of cards are very similar...
TIP 1: Stamp the sentiment first (in Marina Mist) then stamp the snowflakes around it.
Stamp the snowflakes using Versamark and Heat emboss with white embossing powder.
TIP 2: Use a quarter sponge and a soft sky ink pad to gently build up the colour from the centre of each snowflake in a circular motion to make them pop on the matching coloured card.
TIP 3: Add the wooden snowflakes using the fine tip glue pen after you have completed everything else so you can leave it flat and give the glue a chance to dry.
Finish by adding a few cream enamel dots from the Home For Christmas pack of dots.
TIP 4: This stamp set is available to purchase as a bundle with a matching punch (not used here), saving 15%!
OK, so I hope you like todays cards?
Please don't forget to come back tomorrow and I'll be here with week 5 of my 12 Weeks Of Crafty Christmas Makes project - so it' a day off of this 7 Days of All Day Class Cards series.
'till tomorrow...

7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 3: Peaceful Pines 3d Tree - with a Make 3d Trees Video Tutorial

Hi there,
And welcome to day 3 (already) of this 7 day series! Today I am sharing this next pair of cards with these cute 3d trees on them, which we made at my All Day Class this week.
Obviously I am not very good at writing down instructions for which part of the trees stick to where to make these 3d trees as when I wrote it down for the tips sheet at class I just confused everyone! So I have made a quick tips video to share how to do this today :-)
So first of all, let's me share the cards with you...
The Bauble version with the gold satin ribbon wrapped around the front panel...
...and the Holly version where I wrapped the ribbon around the top of the card instead.
So, here's the video for you today, just in case you aren't sure what to stick where to make this tree!
And finally, one more picture to finish todays post!
Thanks as ever for stopping by today. I'll be back tomorrow with another pair of cards for you using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.
'Till then
