Hi there,
First of call can I just say thanks so much for all your sweet comments on yesterdays "Stamping on Slate" post (You can see it HERE). It was my project for week 4 of my 12 weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes series and I'm so glad you are enjoying this series and yesterdays project too of course ;-)
But onto todays post now. You may have seen a sneak peek I shared on Instagram a while back? This card is a real change for me, it's not a style I usually attempt or have a lot of success with as a rule but I do love the style and I was pleased with this attempt. What do you think...
First of all I stamped the snowflakes from the Wonderland set using Versamark and heat embossed them in white then added Santa from Cozy Christmas before adding a punched circle post-it note for the moon...
...I then added stamped trees, again from Wonderland, across the bottom edge and finally I gradually built up the colour by sponging with Night of Navy ink.
Finish by gently rubbing with kitchen roll to clean off the white embossing powder to make the snowflakes pop!
Gotta love satin ribbon for great bows!
And a top view to finish today :-)
So, what do you think? Sucess?
Well, thats all from me for today. I have another All Day Class tomorrow but I will be back later on in the day with the first of 7 cards from the class to share with you and the first tip video too. I hope you can make it then :-)
Here is the Online Shoppers Code for use this October. Please use this code when shopping in my Online Store and spending between £25 and £150 for a free thank you gift after the end of the month. If you spend over £150 you will earn your own fabulous rewards :-)
