Hi there!
Happy Sunday to you all and a big, warm Happy Fathers Day to all those fab dad's out there! I am off to cricket early this (Sunday) morning so I'm writing this post v-e-r-y late Saturday night, well, very early Sunday morning really whilst the video uploads....
Anyway, I was having a play with watercolours after watching a video by Jennifer McGuire (she's such an amazing papercrafter and person) and she had made an ombre effect with some Zig pens {that I don't have} so I had a play with my SU! ink pads to see what I could create. I found an easy way to create a similar effect with what I had to make this pretty background which then made it to be this card with the addition of the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies...
The Floral Thinlits Dies come in a set of three, here's the small sectionSentiment from the matching stamp* set Floral Phrases, stamped here in Flirty Flamingo.
*save 10% when bought as a bundle (stamps and dies together)
And the larger detailed die. I didn't use the third die in the set (the cutting edge) on this card.
Love the new solid bakers twine on a roll, I topped the bow with a new enamel shape.
So, here's the simple video tutorial for you
And just before I go, here are the two cards together!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
I'll be back with a new card tomorrow :-)
