Happy Sunday to you!
I'm here with another two cards today using the Christmas Stocking thinlits. Of course this set of dies comes with a matching stamp set (which is in the 25% off offer this month) but for these two cards I have just used the dies :-) I am actually having a class focusing on this bundle this week so I'll be sharing even more makes with both the stamps and dies with you next week ;-)
OK, so these two card were more from my All Day Class a couple of weeks ago (you can see the other cards from this class HERE) and this bundle of stamps and dies was the very top of my must have list as soon as I saw it! I love it! We made a fireplace style card with the Hearth and Home thinlits dies and a simpler version with the Cable Knit embossing folder....
Let's start with the Cable Knit version, as you know the ladies all received a selection of goodies in their kit including this lovely Warmth and Cheer DSP pad...
It's no secret that I love this embossing folder too and all we did was gently brush it with a sponge dipped in crumb cake ink to make the texture pop.
Now, this DSP was something of a marmite experience at class, I personally love it but a few of my attendees were not keen for Christmas, no problem though, they just swapped it out for a different design. I loved seeing them choose different products to make a card their own!
Add a little brick wall behind the fire and a copper coloured noel above, and we are done!
and to finish today, both cards together again :-)
Well, I hope you enjoyed today's cards and are having a relaxing Sunday?! (we are working at home today, boo! But that means more time for crafting through the week, yay!)
