Simply Adorned

Good Morning,
This is a scheduled post as I am really hoping to get the painting finished in Zoe's bedroom today so that I can go shopping for curtains for her on Thursday ;-)
But as promised I wanted to share with you something a bit different today and so I thought I would show you my first project for the Simply Adorned range of jewellery, I have used some basic grey taffeta as I haven't yet got the chain, but it's on the way ;-) I do however like the look with ribbon, a softer look for a different outfit,
I used a elegant eggplant layer as the base with the script from "Charming" stamp set and the heart is from Perfect Postage, all spritzed with shimmer mist (of course!)
These lovely pendants are nice and deep so you can get a fair amount of depth to your images and as you know I love depth to my crafts ;-)
You can see here I added some pretty little pearl strings to the heart, I am going to make lots of different inserts ready for a good few outfit matches, just as soon as I finish painting...
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's crafty idea and if you would like your own simply adorned charm or even a closer look at a home workshop then please do get in touch.
One last thing I must mention, I have ONE last kit for my all day class on Sunday 12th Feb, message me asap to reserve a spot! More details HERE.

Postage Stamp Punch

Hello,
and Happy Saturday to you! I had my Valentines class this morning with some lovely ladies, thanks for coming ladies! I am running this class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday too if you would like to join us I can put you a kit together no probs, just email me to join the fun :-)
So, today's card is a small card I made using the new Postage Stamp punch and matching Perfect Postage stamp set, both on page 20 of the mini catalogue.
I used a base of Island Indigo with Baja Breeze and Rich Razzleberry wide striped grosgrain ribbon,
I stamped the words from Charming stamp set in Versamark down the left hand side of the card and made the slot using the word window punch for the ribbon to go through
I am using these as Thank-You cards so I made a half dozen, they are mostly gone now though ;-)
Short and sweet but I hope you have enjoyed today's creations,
Also, don't forget to book your place at the ALL DAY craft event Laura and I am hosting in February!
There will be Cards, a Brag Book, a fab Raffle, Prizes, Cakes (always!) and plenty of fun too!!!
I will be back tomorrow with some more card fun for you

Charming!

Hello there,
How's your weekend going then? I am trying to take it easy as I have been a bit poorly this week and I just can't seem to shake it off, not good! and I have sooo much to do too including getting ready for the All Day Class I am hosting with my good friend Laura in February SEE HERE for more details, Have you booked your place yet? It should be great fun and we will be making lots of gorgeous projects throughout the day with prizes, a raffle and of course cakes ;-)
Anyway, back to today's card. I used the very sweet Charming stamp set from the new MINI. Now this set is designed to be used for the art inside the gorgeous Simply Adorned range of customisable jewellery but as you will see it is also perfect for cards too..
I have gone for a vintage feel to this card with a soft suede base and vellum card stock over the simply divine FREE Sale-a-bration papers, more details soon... ;-)
this stamp is also in the set and I finished it off with an antique brad
and inside I stamped the circle off once onto grid paper before decorating the outside edges
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's card,
Back tomorrow with some more cardy goodness
