CAS Christmas Card using Stampin Up's Holly Jolly stamps and Gold Glitter!

Hello there,
So, I'm back today with another CAS card for you using the fab Holly Jolly stamp set again. This fab set can be purchase as a bundle for an extra 15% off with the gorgeous matching dies (not used here but I have used them a ton this Christmas! You can see many more ideas with this bundle HERE) but the stamps on their own are just great and only £18.00 in clear mount.
This time I used the giant snowflake and some of the words in this fab set to make this card in Gold and Cherry Cobbler giving it a totally different look to the card I shared with you last FRIDAY...
To make this glittery snowflake I stamped the snowflake using Versamark, sprinkled it with Heat and Stick powder and melting. Cover the melted powder in gold glitter and tap off excess before giving it a last little blast with the heat gun, just to set the glitter!
TIP: Use your embossing buddy for this card, it not only stops the heat and stick powder sticking where you don't want it but a lot of the glitter too!
Hopefully that makes sense but if you want me to do a little video please let me know :-)
These sentiments are in the set too, I simply stamped them on spare white card, trimmed then inked the edges with a matching marker.
There's a VIDEO HERE sharing how to do this :-)
I added dimensionals under "Jollly" and glued the rest flat for this CAS look.
And one more photo to finish this evening :-)
Thanks for looking this evening.
I've closed this months online order code now, thanks to everyone for your support.
I'll be back tomorrow with a new code for December and a new Video Tutorial too so do pop back then ;-)

Make a Box to fit Scentsy Wax Bar. 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes: Week 9. Using Stampin' Up! Products

Hello,
I hope you are surviving the madness that is this black friday weekend? Perhaps even indulging in a little crafting to keep you sane ;-) This evening I have this weeks 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes video to share with you. When I designed this series of projects I knew I would need boxes to gift some Scentsy Wax Bars in (and I'm sure many of you out there also love Scentsy too) so I set out to design a box to hold one wax bar. The thing for me that was really important was to design a box that uses just one sheet of A4 card, or one sheet of 8.5" x 11" card for those visiting from the US, and that's what I did, lets see....
This was the first box I made using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits in a Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate colourway. Notice the straight sentiment? I purchased the clear mount stamps and gently teased the sentiment into a straighter line before stamping.
And here are the boxes I made on the video. These are Smoky Slate with Silver Glimmer trees and Soft Sky sentiments.
They each fit in one wax bar. Here you can see at the bottom of the boxes the inches version had to have a  slightly different assembly method to accommodate the 8.5" x 11" card from the US. But don't worry! All is explained in the video!
So please, let me share the video with you now...
And here are the measurements for those who like written figures in addition to the video:
**Please note, you need to watch the video in addition to using these figures :-)**

A CAS Holly, Jolly Christmas Card using Stampin' Up's Holly Jolly!

Hi there,
I have a super simple and really cute lil' card for you this evening ;-)
I used Holly Jolly stamps and die bundle for this card and I can't wait to share it with you now...
I added the die cut "jolly" just at the ends using the fine tip glue pen over a smoky slate snowflake.
Add a few punched stars to make this card pop!
The "Holly" and "Christmas" sentiments are included in the stamp set.
And one more photo to finish this evening.
This months hostess code if you wish to use it :-)
OK, it's a short and sweet post from me tonight as I'm absolutely shattered tonight after a busy few weeks! I'll be back tomorrow with a new 12 Weeks video and I'll also add the supplies used for this card,
*Edit to say: Supplies now added ;-)*
Thanks so much for looking this evening,
Stampin' Hugs,
