Painted Harvest in Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate

Hi there,
Today's card is the last of the three Painted Harvest cards from my class in December. I went with a completely different look from the last two makes I shared with this set - using a Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate colorway for this design...
I always find Flirty Flamingo really hard to photograph so it shows the right colour, which is a real pain because it's one of my favourite colours ;-) Is it just me?
We fussy cut an extra flower and punched the leaves adding silver thread, before layering it on the top of the stamped background. The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.
OK, so this is my last post for 2017! I'd just like to say a great big, heartfelt Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year by choosing me as their demonstrator and of course for coming here and looking at my makes. I hope to share so much more with you in 2018.
Until then, Happiest New Year wishes from our home to yours xxxx

Painted Harvest Layered Card.

Hello there,
I do hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your nearest and dearest? We had a really lovely, relaxed time chilling at home and generally not doing a lot although I did manage a few sneaky hours in my craft room last night ;-)
So, this card is another card we made at my Painted Harvest class and I am happy to say this stamp set and matching punch is carrying over into the new year. However, the bundle price will be finishing on the 3rd January when the Spring/Summer catalogue launches but then sale-a-bration 2018 starts on this day instead, with free products for every £45 spent... just so you know.
OK, let's see this layered and (I think) quite masculine, card....
So I was very late to the Painted Harvest party so I'm certain this card was inspired by the many, many other similar cards I have seen out there, on the web. If you made one of these cards first, then thank you! You totally inspired me :-)
I used the Wood Textures DSP as a background and layered copper foil leaves and stamped images too. All topped with a sentiment from Guy Greetings :-)
OK, that's all from me today, I'll be back with the last card in this trio tomorrow and then we'll be onto new catalogue goodies! I can't wait to share the Spring/Summer catalogue and Sale-a-Bration with you :-)
Thanks so much for looking today,

Delightful Daisy Circles with Wood Words by SU!

Hello there,
Today's card uses the Delightful Daisy DSP again but I've picked up on the Calypso Coral in this design and teaming it with Pool Party,  take a look...
I chose two of the papers from the pack and stamped the third circle using the flowers and sentiment from Wood Words*.
*This set can be purchased with the crate framelits for 10% off*
I started adding the circles from the top down and the final circle went on with dimensionals.
All finished with some gold thread and a few iridescent sequins.
OK, that's all from me for today, hope you enjoyed today's card?
Thanks for looking :-)

Using SU! Lift Me Up Bundle for a Jems Blog Hop Day

Hello and welcome to today's post which is also part of the Jem's Blog Hop Day. Yay!
That means loads of fabulous inspiration and the theme this month is "Hearts - not just for Valentines".
Now, I don't know about you but Valentines is not really a big thing in our house. Granted, that's mostly because we have three birthdays during February here :-)
So, I have a subtle use of hearts for my card today using the very lovely 'Lift Me Up' bundle to make this card. I was totally inspired by a Christmas card I received (designed by Tesco) and just had to make my own version and I thought these balloons were perfect for this design.
I have called it a "Pop Stand Card" as it's part pop up and part stand up ;-) but it may be known by another name??? Let me show you......
The balloons are held up with window sheets.
and I used the matching (FREE SaB papers) Carried Away and stamps from the bundled set across the bottom.
You can see here this card stands on it's own and folds flat for posting, fitting in a regular 15cm square envelope.
I am so pleased with this card today and I will definitely be making a video to share with you exactly how to make it in the next week :-) Watch this space!
