Friday Round Up with cardsandacuppa

Hello and welcome to the first weekly round up here!
Let's get sharing what I have made/shared this week :-) I've been colouring with my Blends pens, a lot.
TOP TIPS: Use Memento ink or any water based ink pad (for example Smoky Slate or Sahara Sand both work great for a more "no line" effect, more on that next week)
Use regular Whisper White (or Very Vanilla) card stock. I've found the ink much less likely to "bleed" with regular WW when using Blends.

~~~
This first card uses the Grandmas House stamp set. So cute and perfect with notecards.
 Then I made this one with the Bloom and Grow stamps and dies. Funny story, I forgot I had dies for these images and *some* of the cards you'll see next week might have been hand cut... lol.
Flirty Flamingo flowers with a Rococo Rose card base.
 This Free as a Bird card with laser cut paper was super popular on Instagram, gathering my most amount of likes ever!
 Then I made a card using the Good Morning Magnolia set in So Saffron stamped onto Vanilla card for a more vintage feel.
This cute note card uses some of the small sprigs from Bloom and Grow again. Sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set.
 And finally for this week I have a pair of butterfly cards which were the centre of  two "Floating Frame" makes we made recently. The outer creations can also be found on my social media pages :-)
So, that's all my shares for this week, I have added some links at the end of this post but not everything, so any questions please do ask :-)
I'll be sharing all this week on FB and Insta so if you'd like to follow me there and be the first to know then that'd be fab!
And I'll be back on here next Wednesday with my ICC card, 'till then, happy stamping :-)
Painted Harvest in Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate
Hi there,
Today's card is the last of the three Painted Harvest cards from my class in December. I went with a completely different look from the last two makes I shared with this set - using a Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate colorway for this design...
 I always find Flirty Flamingo really hard to photograph so it shows the right colour, which is a real pain because it's one of my favourite colours ;-) Is it just me?
 We fussy cut an extra flower and punched the leaves adding silver thread, before layering it on the top of the stamped background. The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.
OK, so this is my last post for 2017! I'd just like to say a great big, heartfelt Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year by choosing me as their demonstrator and of course for coming here and looking at my makes. I hope to share so much more with you in 2018.
Until then, Happiest New Year wishes from our home to yours xxxx
Two Of A Kind Using Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist
Hello there,
I have a duo of cards for you today after a short blogging break this week ;-)
We will be making these two cards at my All Day Christmas class in a couple of weeks where we are using (mostly) the Carols of Christmas stamps and die bundle. I couldn't choose one colour over another so I decided to make the same card in both Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst!
Let's start with the Berry Burst version...
 We'll be using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the tree on the front of each card, it's a bit tricky to get a good shot of the sparkle so here's a close up ;-)
I added Merry Music DSP as a background which covers the whole front of a black card base.
 So, my second version is with Lemon-Lime Twist card....
 I added vellum behind the twin tree cut out, an idea I used last Christmas HERE and loved!
 I stamped the tiny cluster of stars (included in the Carols Of Christmas stamp set) on the card fronts using Versamark for subtle interest.
And both cards together to finish today! Could you choose a favourite?
Right, that's all from me for today, I'll be back on Friday with another card.
'Till then, happy stampin'!
