Bee Thankful in Yellow Ombre and last chance to get 10 FREE Ink Pads!

Hi!
Todays card uses the new Bee Thankful stamp. This is an individual, red rubber stamp and now the individual stamps are available in both clear and wood mount. I love that!
I started this card by stamping the image onto whisper white card then colouring the image using both daffodil delight blends and my light pumpkin blends pen to create this ombre effect...
I started to fussy cut the image as I was going to add it over a patterned background but I wasn't happy with how that looked so I just added it to a white background instead. Obviously next time I would just stamp and colour the image onto a white card layer and save all that fussy cutting ;-)
I ran the white card edge through my Navy ink pad then added it to a Melon Mambo card base for a bright pink punch!
Finished with a few clear sequins from my stash and that's it!
This stamp set is so fun and really doesn't need much else other than to colour it to make a super fun card! Don't you think?
Also, just a quick reminder that this is the last but one day to join SU! and choose a whole colour family of ink pads FREE with your starter kit

Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick Tropical Chic

Hello there,
I was having a play with the Tropical Chic stamps and dies the other day while on the phone to my friend and this little card kinda came from nowhere as I was chatting!
I started with stamping the leaves down the side in Tranquil Tide before stamping a few flowers on a separate piece of thick white card and die cutting them out.
To create these two tone flowers: Ink the whole flower first using Flirty Flamingo ink then, using a sponge dauber, add Lovely Lipstick ink around the edges before stamping the image.

I added some of the flowers with mini dimensionals and some flat before stamping, fussy cutting and layering the sentiment. And of course, finish with a few sequins!
I love when a card just "happens" don't you?

Dandelion Wishes Eclipse Card

Hello,
My husband recently asked me to a make a special card for a lovely lady he works with for a big birthday. He originally asked for her number on the card, which I swiftly talked him out of, convincing him that not everyone wants the world to know what their new number was going to be! But I could still make her something nice, honest ;-)
OK, so I started with the other, smaller image stamp from Dandelion Wishes but quickly realised I needed more density of  images for this style of card so I stamped the tripe flower image three times to come up with this...
I then die cut her name using Large Letter framelits.
Before adhering the outline to a navy card layer then adding back in the letters using foam strips.
Wrap with gold thread (retired) and layer onto a white card base.
The lady this was for messaged my hubby and said it was "the most beautiful card she'd ever had."
*blush*
I do love an eclipse card, what do you think?

Fabulous Flamingo CAS Card

Hello there,
I have a super fun, single layer card and going back to the basics of simply card and ink!
This is a triple layer stamp set so I stamped the flamingo in Powder Pink then Flirty Flamingo and finally the outline using Memento black ink.
I stamped the sentiment in both Flamingo and then Memento for a shadow effect.
The leaves, water and reeds are all included in the set too :-)
