Kraft Boxes and Banner Greetings

Hello there on this very lovely Sunday.
The sun is shining in the south of England right now and doesn't it just put a great big whoping smile on everyone's face?? :-))))))
So, I have a nice quick post for you today using more new products from the up-coming catalogue which is launched in just 2 more sleeps!!!
These fab new rectangular gift boxes are a great size and I just know they will be so useful for lots of things. I would say they would be the right size to fit in three (generous sized) cupcakes, maybe three golf balls, smellies ;-) socks, baby grows, well, the list is endless...
I have decorated this one with the new hostess set Banner Greetings and some of the new washi tape too...
I added a couple of bakers twine bows at the ends of the banner
and a touch of washi tape. Lots more with this coming soon ;-)

OK, I'm off for today.
Have a lovely Sunday evening and thanks for stopping by!

Mosaic Madness for a workshop

Hello!
Today I hosted my downline meeting with my lovely team! We had a bundle of laughs and made some cute projects that could be used to run a class with or host a workshop.
If you are interested in joining SU! please contact me for details or pop over HERE for a bit more info.
I would love to welcome you to the team :-))
But for today though I will share the workshop cards we made using the new set Mosaic Madness. This is the workshop card we made using my current favourite colours which are both NEW In Colours for this year (launching 2nd July) Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana, a soft and summery combo. Love them!!
and this is the stepped up version with white organza ribbon bow and of course the extra bling!
We tied the bakers twine around the white ribbon bow for a pop of colour...
and the punched mosaic pieces were added with dimensionals with the rhinestones giving the essential sparkle ;-)
and here they are both together
Well, I hope you liked today's cards? This lovely new stamp set will be available from the 2nd July along with a whole lot more in the fab NEW catty!!
For a FREE copy why not join my new stampers 6 club? Lots more details are HERE.
Or if you would prefer to simply purchase a copy of the new catty then they are available from me for just £5 posted.
For either enquiries please email me at sarah-janerae@sky.com with your preferences or queries.
Thanks for stopping by today,

Worlds Greatest and For My Family

Hello there,
I have the card I made for my FIL for Fathers day to share with you today, I seem to have slipped up and forgot to post this with you sooner! Ooopsie ;-)
I decided to make a tent topper card, which is one I haven't made in a while.
The DSP is from World Spectacular with the Worlds Greatest single stamp and the ever useful For My Family. All of which are retiring at the end of the month. If you "need" to add these stamps to your collection then please take a look HERE to check availability of the retiring stamps (currently both sets are available) and then please message me to place an order before they sell out :-)
This ribbon is also retiring and will be un-available to purchase after the 1st July too, see all retiring accessories HERE. There are a few bargains in there too including 25% off this ribbon...
You can see I stamped first the word "Greatest" separately and scrunched and inked for texture; with the "Worlds" and swirls stamped in Navy and mounted on foam pads for another bit of contrast.
I also stamped a few of the clockworks images around the edges of the Apothecary Accents Framelits panel before adding the Dad decorated with the Vintage Trinkets button effect brads
Right, much to do today as usual so I'll be off but seeing you again soon ;-)))
Thanks, as ever for visiting today,

Everything Eleanor Stamp-a-Stack

Hello there!
Today I am sharing with you another card we made at class last week, I haven't used this set in a while (too long really!) and as is usual when I do that I think I must use this one more!!
The colours are Lucky Limeade with Night of Navy, I love this combo! It's very refreshing don't you think?
Boho Blossoms punch makes the flowers from DSP, we gently folded them up to make them fuller and added rhinestone centres, sentiment is from Petit Pairs.
We had to hand cut the panel, much to the surprise of the class ladies, they are so used to having a die to cut things out! It's a nice easy one to cut though ;-)
Lastly we punched a flower using the itty bitty shapes punches to tie the ribbon detail onto the card.
I like how this looks, adding just a touch of ribbon where it might be too much tied all the way around...
Right, I have more cards awaiting me to make them! Ha ha!
Back soon with more :-))))

Word Play Fold Over Card

Hello there,
I have another card from my Stamp-a-Stack class today. We used the DSP stacks that are retiring in a few short days now, this one is Gumball Green, the colour is staying but the patterns will be changing, I am already really looking forward to the exciting new goodies that are coming our way soon though!
**If you would like a FREE copy of the new catalogue then why not consider my NEW stampers 6 club starting this month and I will send your catalogue out to you included with this club? More details are HERE then email me to join the  fun!**
If you would like to purchase a copy of the new catalogue they are just £5 including postage, again email me to get your copy on sarah-janerae@sky.com
So, the card...
I used a base of Early Espresso with a white card layer to stamp onto using the sentiment from Word Play which is also retiring. See the retiring stamps list HERE
this style of button is also retiring {see the retiring accessories list HERE
I knotted it with Espresso bakers twine and added it using a glue dot after glueing the paper down with tombow (that glue sticks paper like no other! There's no worry of bits falling off when you use it, that's for sure!)
and finally the "Word Play" sentiment close up ;-)
Right, more cards to make and card kits to prepare for this months stampers club, I'll share those with you asap!! Don't forget to contact me to join in! ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Viola's Lace stamp-a-stack card

Hello there,
Well, it's really lovely here in the South today! The sun is shining and it's lovely and warm :-)
So, I am just popping on here to share another class card from last week with you. We make 10 cards at a stamp-a-stack, 2 each of 5 designs, if you would like to join us see HERE for the next dates.
This was one of those quick cards we made at the last class using the lovely Viola's Lace wheel stamp. I have un-mounted mine and I find it so much easier to use like this, see HERE for how to un-mount your wheels.
I also love the colours for this card, it's Basic Grey base with Raspberry Ripple which is a really rich looking dark pink, a definite favourite of mine!
We made a "bunny ear" bow to go on this card as I found the striped ribbon that matched the raspberry ripple was too much tied all the way around.
Want to know how you make these bows? I have a video tutorial for this too! Go HERE to see it.
Right, I would like to say I'm off to sit in the garden and enjoy the sun but unfortunately I have a list as long as your arm today! So I better crack on with that I suppose!
Thanks for stopping by today :-)

Summer Silhouettes

Hello there!
I hope you all had a fab weekend! and enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day with your nearest and dearest ;-)
We had a lovely weekend as a family which was lovely and a bit of a rarity these days!
So, today I have a card I made for a friend which I sent as a New Home card. It uses the very pretty Summer Silhouettes in a yellow and green colour combo, very summery.
The DSP is Tea for Two from the spring/summer catty and I was playing with the finishing touches edgelits on the white card
I love that although you can use the flowers with the stamp-a-ma-jig you don't actually have to with this set!
and I added a pretty bow using the stitched grosgrain ribbon and a button to top it off
Just a quick reminder before I go. I have a NEW stampers 6 club starting now, I also have the NEW 2013-2014 catty in my hands which I will send out FREE to all stampers club members,
Please message me to join the fun or
Right, I have a load of cards to make so I'm going to dash off now :-)))

I have another class with spaces on the 22nd and 24th of June (the 25th is now full!) if you are near Dibden Purlieu and would like to join us please email me for details sarah-janerae@sky.com.
So, this card uses a colour combo of Crumb Cake and Pool Party, I'm so glad SU! are keeping Pool Party in their new colour re-jig! Although I'm going to miss the spritzer tool when that goes :-( I used it here with the Soft Suede marker, just to highlight the stamped area see...

Right, that's all for today. I'm off to work tonight so I best get cracking!

Easy Events stamp-a-stack card

Hello,
I hope you are well? I have had a lovely crafty day with my friend today. I managed to make a couple of cushion covers and a new felt case for my Kindle but the bit that took the time was getting to grips with my new (to me) sewing machine. I have had it a good long while but been far too intimidated to test it out 'till today! I am in love though now!! I also managed to squeeze a card in there too ;-)

Anyway, I have a card to share with you tonight we made at this weeks stamp-a-stack class using the retiring Easy Events stamp set, this set is full of cute images to colour in and the ladies selected a few different ones for their cards.
As you can see I went with a simple Thank-you image, the DSP is from the Sunshine and Sprinkles pack from the Spring/Summer catty

we coloured the image in with blender pens and ink pads, the cute spotty ribbon is also retiring (and it's reduced to £5.21 too!) so grab yours while it lasts!
Right, I'm off as I have more work to do tonight!
Back tomorrow with more :-)

Rain or Shine with Bootiful Occasions

Hello there,
I made this cute card a wee while ago (for Jules) using the Rain or Shine set. I thought it would be just perfect teamed with the wellies from the Bootiful Occasions set :-)
The background DSP is the Print Poetry stack, a great value stack of 48 sheets sized 11.4cm x 16.5cm, perfect for standard sized cards and only available now 'till the end of July!
The umbrella from Rain or Shine is in Early Espresso and Primrose Petals.
I stamped the boot twice using staz on and coloured in the background using my blender pen and ink pad, then I added dazzling diamonds with the 2 way glue pen.
You can also see I used one of the yummy In Colour Dahlias too :-)
Well, I hope you like today's card.
I'm off to work now but will be back tomorrow with another card!

Secret Garden with a little Framelit Top Tip Tutorial

Hello there,
Following on from this weeks other posts using the Secret Garden stamps and framelits I wanted to make it a bit easier when you use the stamps to find the way the dies fit over the image so I made a quick tutorial for you at the same time :-) Scroll down to see it.
I will start with the last card from the class and its a colour combo of Midnight Muse with Calypso Coral, it's a CAS design and I really liked this look with the set, I teamed it with the frame and sentiment from Memorable Moments...
(if you want to see more from either set click on the "Labels" link at the end of this post)

as you can see we die cut out the flowers and leaves curving them with the bone folder for depth just adding some bakers twine in keeping with the CAS look
the Memorable Moments frame and sentiment which I skipped die cutting out and just stamped it straight onto the card layer in Basic Grey

 So, to make die cutting the irregular shaped flower out easier this is what I did;
Start by choosing a "top" section of the flower, I chose an area where there was slightly more gap between the petals but this is up to you ;-) Mark it with a sharpie
then tip it up so you can see the front and the side edge, mark again directly above the first spot
turn again and mark the reverse, this mark should be in exactly the same place as the front one
now, I marked the scrap piece of card I was working on  for the benefit of this tutorial, I would say it was optional when you do this at home because you will be doing each step immediately (not stopping to take pics in between ;-))
Now, ink and stamp your image ensuring your mark is at the top
Place the die over the image and mark at the same point and then each time you need to die cut this image out it should be easy to find the correct position!
This tutorial is only really necessary with irregular shapes like the flowers from Secret Garden but I do hope it helps someone out there :-)
So, that's all from me for today,
Thanks for visiting!!
