Video Tutorial: Mini Easter Basket for Chocolate Chicks! Using Stampin' up! Supplies

Hellloo!!
I'm so late with this Video today as it has literally taken all day to upload it to YouTube for some reason! Anyway, I will add supplies later as I'm off to work but I wanted to get this on here before I go.
I made these little baskets Friday evening for some adorable chocolate chicks I found in the supermarket last week! (they are Lindt ones, for size).
I decorated the fronts with mini daffodils, there are instructions for these on the video too :-)
 Lots of baskets!
OK, here's the Video, Please enjoy!
Well, I hope you enjoyed todays's tutorial?
Thanks so much for looking today,

For Being You Sale-a-Bration stamp by Stampin' Up! with a FREE Whitewash Technique Tutorial!

Hi there,
There's lots going on here today again! It's my daughters 14th birthday today so we are gong out for early tea soon :-)
I just wanted to pop on here and share the photo tutorial I did for you the other day whilst I was making this card using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set 'For Being You' which contains this gorgeous Thanks stamp and a few others too. Remember SaB finishes on Tuesday so place your last minute orders (over £45) in soon to get free products!
OK, so I started with a crumb cake card to make this simple style one layer card.
I heat embossed the Thanks word straight onto the crumb cake card using versamark and gold embossing powder.
but I stamped these hearts after the whitewashing.
I also added a coat of glitter to the whitewashed areas using my Wink of Stella pen. I did this the next day so I knew it was dry ;-)
And I made quite a few too! So, do you want to try this technique too??
That's great as I took pictures whilst I was making these cards ;-)
So, to start you need to heat emboss your large Thanks stamp, I used Gold powder but any colour would work.
1. Begin by squeezing some water through your brush. I then dabbed the excess off as you need it wet but not soaking. You need enough water so your ink coverage looks like this. You could use a paint brush or blender pen too, of course.
2. I found the white craft was easiest to work with when I did just a small area (3 letters) at a time.
3. Blot the excess ink away.
4. Repeatedly dab over each letter to dry some more.
5. Buff away the ink from the embossed areas.
6. Ta Dah! Finished. I coloured in the shadows only on mine using a blender pen and Crisp Cantaloupe ink pad. I then went back the next day after they were completely dry and re-coloured the shadows to make them darker still.
And here's the card again to finish.
I really hope you have a go at this fun technique and if you do please remember to share it with me ;-)
Thanks as always for looking today.

Circle Thinlits in Gold and Cantaloupe

Hi!
I have a card today using my much underused Circles Thinlits die. I referred to my previous tutorial (HERE) to make this three panel sized card using this die :-)

I was inspired by a card I made a long time ago that I spotted again when I was updating my links at the end of my posts on here. If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you might have seen I decided (in my infinite wisdom) to change my Twitter name to #cardsandacuppa but unfortunately for me I then had to update all the links on here! Meaning I had to go back to modify each post for nearly two years! On the upside I remembered cards I had totally forgotten about and so this is where the colours for this card have come from!
Anyway, enough waffle. I'm going to share the card with you now.
I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe base and topped each section whisper white card then added gold vellum paper over this...
The sentiment is from a retired set and was stamped over a brush stroke from work of Art with some mini butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set which I heat embossed in Gold.
A larger butterfly I added inside
I also added a thick cantaloupe twine and gold bakers twine bow
 inside
Closed. I left the back panel blank for writing on.
and one final photo to finish
OK, that's all for today. Thanks for looking and I hope you liked today's card.
**Note: Please remember that Sale-a-Bration finishes on the 31st March! This is the very last few days to get those goodies you really want/need for FREE with every £45 spent. Please pop over to my SHOP for a look around before they go forever :-)
And be sure to come back here tomorrow as I'll be back with a new Photo Tutorial for you!!
