Little Gifts

Hello,
As you read this I will be at Julies all day paper craft class in Yorkshire! I just thought I would share with you the little gifts I have made for the other SU! demos who will be there, some of whom are Jems (Julies team) and some are from other teams, all are lovely ladies who I am really looking forward to meeting again and 1 or 2 for the first time :0) exciting!
I wanted to take a little something for these ladies but as I am flying to Julies and only taking hand luggage it needed to be light and small, so as I enjoyed making the lavender bag for my mothers day class I decided to make some more :0)
Here they are all together...

and a couple of close ups, all stamps used are by SU! please see labels at the bottom of this post for more info and links to other examples,

as are the paper toppers. Some of the ribbon and buttons are from my stash, some are SU!

So onto my little giveaway! Would you like a lavender bag? Well, pop your name down and I will pick a winner on, shall we say next Saturday? to give you a chance to get your entry in,
I will also post to anywhere, so all my lovely followers from around the world can enter this one ;0)
Thanks for stopping by,

Mojo and Jems challlenges

Hello all,
I have left this post 'till late today because this card is for my friends birthday today and we will not be meeting up 'till later! I don't think (really hope) she will look at this before we meet! fingers crossed anyway!
So I used this weeks Mojo sketch, all be it loosely, and the colours were a challenge set by my upline Julie to inspire her team, as you know this is (unusually) the second colour challenge I have completed this week ;0)
Colours to be used were Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Sage Shadow and Very Vanilla. I thought that when I put them together they looked a bit retro so went with it and came up this card,
The polka dot bit at the top was made using the 1/2" punch with the vanilla behind it showing through,
not one who likes to waste, I used some of the little circles to accent the bottom and covered them in glossy accents,
little cake is again from Darling Dots, a level 1 hostess set, inked using the markers in co-ordinating colours,
Arty angle to finish,
That's it for today, I will be back tomorrow with another card using the same stamp but with a completely different feel,
Thanks for dropping by, Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx

Darling Dots Birthday

Hello everyone,
I have had a really quiet day today, so this post is a bit late really, but I did want to share with you the card I made for a friend's daughters birthday which was was last week. I am afraid the photos are not great as the light was fading fast and of course I left it 'till the last minute to finish making it, even though I had the idea for a good week or so before....
Anyways, Stamps used were Darling Dots (cute don't you think?) FREE if you spend over £150 or maybe if you live near me you could host a workshop and earn them?? email me for more info.
The colours used are Real Red and Night of Navy with a bit of Choc Chip thrown in there to ground it a little, DSP is retired from the last catty hostess gifts,
Sentiment from FREE Sale-a-Bration set Happy Moments (spend over £45 to qualify) punched out with the word window punch,
Arty angle, {dodgy colour!!}
Well, that's all for today, I have a set of 4 cards for you tomorrow which I made after seeing one of Zoe's rubbers! colour inspiration doesn't happen to me very often so I am quite pleased with the result!
Bye for now, Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
