Last Cards of 2018 - Wishing You A Happy and Crafty 2019!

Hello there,
I hope your Christmas was brilliant! We have had a lovely time here, seeing most of our dearest people and despite working some over the holidays, we have had a really nice Christmas. I have also started to tidy and sort out my craft room o_o ... I have a feeling it may take a few more days, lol!
I have just two/three more festive cards to share with you and so I'm back again today to share them all with you! Fair warning, this is a picture heavy post for your new years eve viewing so I do recommend a cuppa to go with it ;-)
Let's start with the Winter Woods make first. I made this as part of a challenge by my SU! up, upline Monica recently...

I teamed it with the Festive Farmhouse Elements, coloured with a Cherry Cobbler blends pen...
Adding a little blue sponging under the trees and some gold glimmer paper to finish.
So that's the first card for today, I hope you enjoyed it?
Next I have a pair of cards to share - hence the two/three statement at the beginning ;-)
So, we made this design at my All Day Class and coloured it with Aqua Painters and ink pads (the right hand card) and then I made a second version using slightly different papers and coloured it with my Blends pens, let's take a look at the cards together first...
This is the class card with this cute spotty paper. The sentiment is the "Warm Hearted" hostess set from the A/W catalogue and it will not be available after the 2nd January :-(
We coloured the "So Santa" image on this make using aqua painters and ink pads on Thick White card.
And for this second card I used some of the Christmas lights papers...
And coloured the image with my blends on regular Whisper White card.
And here they are together again to finish.
So, that's my two/three cards for today and also my last offering to you for this year!
It's been a very crafty year here and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me both on here and on social media and for all your love and support xoxo
I hope that you have enjoyed my makes and will continue to visit me to share in our crafty passion during the next year also.
Many crafty hugs for a fantastic 2019!

An Alpine Adventure Christmas Card

Hello and happy Saturday!
Just a couple more days 'till Christmas and I have a few more festive cards to share with you before the big day ;-)  We are off to get the fresh food shopping this morning and then that's it, I *think* we are ready!
Anyway, I really love this Alpine Adventure bundle and I teamed it here with some of the (non-festive) Twinkle, Twinkle DSP...
I stamped and die cut the skis and I layered the sledge three times to make it pop a little more. And this Twinkle, Twinkle DSP works great for festive cards, don't you think?
I love how a little black card layer can add a real pop to a pastel card.
Add in a glitter snowdrift and some stamped snowflakes and that's it for this card :-)
So, that's me for today. I'll be back tomorrow with another make, if I survive the food shop, that is! Lol!
Thanks so much for looking today :-)

Dashing Deer with Tin Tile Embossed Paper

Hello there,
I hope your festive preparations are going well? I have mostly finished the wrapping and so I can concentrate on the rest of the jobs this week now, doesn't that "to do" list just keep getting longer??
But first today I have another card from class where we used the Dashing Deer dies to make this...
I used the All Is Bright DSP again and embossed the bokeh effect paper with the Tin Tile embossing folder which totally changed the look of it, don't you think?
I then added the gold deer die cut to a vellum stitched edge circle which I then layered up onto some of the foliage patterned paper. I thought this paper was just a tad too busy behind the deer but the vellum layer just knocks it back enough to allow it to be seen but also allow the deer to take centre stage.
The tag is from the Tags and Tidings bundle which was heat embossed in white onto black card. I added it with twine and dotted on a few enamel shapes to finish.
So, that's it for today! I'll be back soon with another card for you.
I hope you get a chance to craft this week :-)

Alpine Adventure Christmas Sledge Card

Hi there,
Today's make uses the very lovely Alpine Adventure bundle to make this sleigh card. I really love this bundle and I honestly haven't used it anywhere nearly enough yet! Anyway, I hear snow is on it's way so I'll have more time and also an excuse to make more mini sledges...
I actually used quite a lot of other different Christmas products for the rest of this card, which I didn't quite realise until I started listing them for this post :-) including some of the free papers from the  October (I think it was) promotion as well as the Tin Tile embossing folder and some of the very lovely Galvanised Metallic paper, let's see...
I was trying to use up leftover pieces from different projects I had hanging around on my desk including some leftover tags from the Tags and Tidings set we used for my Christmas card class.
I layered up the sledge three times and added a mini jingle bell (retired) with twine.
Oooh, I'll just mention that this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine is out now and as well as loads of fun ideas I made a card using this stamp/die combo as one of set of four quick Christmas cards in there ;-)
And I added a sentiment from Merry Christmas To All to finish today :-)
So, that's all for today, I'll be back soon with another make but 'till then,
Happy stampin'!
