Less is More Butterflies

Hello there,
I wanted to enter the Less is More challenge again this week not least as it really does push me out of my comfort zone ;-) the theme this week is butterfly(ies) and so I made a mini card, it is just 7cm square,
Crumb Cake base with a layer of Baja Breeze. I used the Beautiful Butterflies Die and cut out smallest butterfly twice which I then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder before sewing it onto the card front,
mat pack used to add a perfect straight line along the bottom as well as Tiny Tags stamp set with the matching Jewellery punch for the sentiment,
and a little decoration inside, this little butterfly is from Itty Bitty Bits,
Well, that's today's post for you, all supplies used here are SU! and available through me,
I have got Zack's celebration of work at school this morning and a couple of cards to make later, I hope you too have a lovely day, whatever you are up to :-D
Thanks for stopping by today,

Colour Inspiration Cards

Good Morning,
I have to warn you, before you start, this post is very picture heavy (again!) I would grab a cuppa if I were you, I just have ;0)
Soooo, here is the rubber (eraser) which inspired these 4 cards, Zoe was drawing and when I saw it and knew I had to use these colours, which , like I said yesterday is unusual as I am not normally very good at colour challenges! Well, I will let you decide if I am any good ????
I am also entering these into Cupcake Craft Challenges which this week is to make a set of something, perfect!

So, here it is, Tempting Turquoise, More Mustard, Basic Black and Whisper White.

First one using Trendy Trees and scallop square punch, White Satin Rbbon and a button from the Playground pack,

These three are made using Sale-a-Bration set Good Neighbours, all slightly different, Mat Pack and scalloped border punch used on this one,

Sentiment on this one is from Pocket Silhouettes,

and of course I have used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig on all the cards to position the little houses perfectly!

And here they are all together,
So finally for today I am throwing the challenge out to you!!!! yup, that's right, why not have a go at making a card in these colours and I will send out a small prize to one lucky blog reader, anywhere in the world, so everyone can enter. I will give you a week or so to have a go, link it back to this post so I can go and see ;0)
I really hope you will have a go and I really look forward to seeing how it inspires you too,

Not just for girls!

Good morning to you today,
Well, as I write this at 6pm Sunday we haven't had the promised snow! although I can't say as I am too disappointed as I think my kids need to go to school this week (getting bored) and more importantly I am waiting on a delivery from SU! I am desperate for my yummy new SAB stamps to play with but it has been held up at the delivery depot everyday since last Tuesday thanks to the snow! so "No Snow" for us please, at least not till Tuesday anyway ;0)

Right onto the mans card I have made using .....On a pedestal, now, I know this is not usually the first set you would pick for a card for a man but I think this card shows that it does work!
I inked the stamp with Choc Chip and Creamy Caramel markers, the stand was inked along the top only using Pumpkin pie as were with the candle flames, Mat Pack used again! Happy Birthday is from Occasional Greetings,

I did the cake a second time a layered it up for a bit of dimension, Background paper is Choc Chip with Pumpkin Pie 1/4" grosgrain ribbon to finish,
Well I hope you have a nice day and I will be back tomorrow with some more cards made with the Love You Much set,
Keep Warm, Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
