Tomorrows Class Cards

Hiya,
I have got the last 2 cards we will be making tomorrow to show you, Looks like it's gonna be a ball!
The first one I have to share with you is a blatant case from my very talented and clever roomie Sarah P (thanks hun xxx) she made a wreath style card with a brill tutorial on her blog, I didn't have all the punches she used so I have adapted it slightly.
I also used circle of friendship stamp for the middle sentiment instead of the Perfect Presents one :0) Berries made using a crop-a-dile and glossy on them to finish,
~~~~~~
This next one is another I have made a few of (loving easel cards!) but this time I used Old Olive as my colour scheme
All materials used are SU! DSP is from the yummy Merry Moments paper pack, Loads of dazzling Diamonds glitter on the ornaments,
Right must dash, got to get kiddies from school,
Hope you like
Another Christmas one
Good Morning to you!
I hope you are all having a fine morning, I am! Got loads to do, Halloween gifts, Cards to make, swaps to make etc, etc...but at least I am starting to feel 'normal' again, well normal for me, not sure everyone else would say I was normal! rofl!
Well, best get on with it!
I have another card in the same colourway as yesterday but this time it's a 'Z Fold' card, {not sure if they are called that but that's what I call them ;0)}
I used the jolly Santa's face and sentiment from the same "Old Fashioned Christmas" set today, with some of the yummy Choc Chip double stitched grosgrain ribbon,
I embossed the panel under the ribbon with some snowflakes (another find in my crimbo stash box)
Charm I also had in my stash from last year (yay!) tied on here with linen thread,
Card base is Choc Chip with Very Vanilla layers, stamped in Close to Cocoa.
Well I hope you like the second in my set of three chocolate Christmas cards (the best sort of Christmas eh? chocolaty!) Do come back tomorrow and see the third one.
The start of .....
....a little Christmas feelin' !!
Good morning to you, I apologise for not blogging yesterday but Zack was party dude this weekend and so no time for card making I'm afraid :0( anyway yesterday I made 3 crimbo cards, so I must be feeling better!
They are all in the same colourway (choc chip, close to cocoa and very vanilla) and using the sweet 'Old Fashioned Christmas' set.
The first one I am going to show you today is this easel card, this has become very popular lately on lots of blogs. I love it as it is standard size to post but something a bit different. I made one for Zack's friends birthday on Sunday but unfortunately forgot to photograph it *doh* when I showed Zack he was very disappointed he didn't get one like it for his birthday!! you can't win can you?
This is the inside. The lovely tree, the holly branch and the sentiment are all from this set, spotty paper is from Choc Chip Designer Papers
The images are stamped in close to cocoa onto very vanilla card and then sponged around the edges to age it a little,
Well that's it for today, I hope you like and for more Christmas come back tomorrow :0)
1st of many...
Morning all,
Yay!!! I have finally managed to make my first Christmas card of the year!!!! I promised myself I would start much earlier this year, but I was clearly wrong (or just plain "can't get into it when it is still sunny") anyway I was doing a little hopping the other day and came across this lovely card by my fellow SU! demo Teri, Thanks Teri =). I thought to myself I have this set and I love this card, I'm gonna have a go! SO I duly pulled down my Christmas box (kept atop of the wardrobe all year) and found although I had this set I also had a whole lotta other Xmas goodies up there too, including this lovely holly border punch I had clean forgotten about! Result eh?
Anyway this is the card I made and it came together really easily too, I based it on the sketch from the Corrosive Challenge blog. I love this set but only got it really late last year so have only really used it once or twice before, It is called Old-Fashioned Christmas and you will be seeing a lot more made with it in the next couple of months me thinks... :0)
I stamped the jolly Santa in Creamy Caramel ink onto Kraft card stock and sponged the edges in the same colour. Kraft DSP is from the level 1 hostess set which is only available 'till end of September (I so wish they would make a whole pack in this colour)
Sentiment is from Seasonal Wishes set which I am sad to say is retiring at the end of the month but if you like it *result* as it is currently 50% off!!! but be warned you will only be able to buy it until 30th Sept or sooner if they sell out. Punched out here with the Scalloped Oval Punch.
Dazzling Diamonds in the snowflakes and a shot of the inside,
email me if you need either of these sets or anything else from the catty for that matter, and don't forget I am still offering capped postage and a special gift from me with all orders until the end of September.
Last shot to show the dimension ;0) I hope you like??
Have a good day, Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
