January Stamp-a-Stack

Happy New Year to you all!!
I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and new year with your loved ones, we played Table tennis and then Wii games with the kids and my Mum and Nan to see in our new year, only stopping to watch the wonderful fireworks on the TV live from London! They were amazing!!
Anyway, back to creating today, I have today finished creating the stamp-a-stack for next week and I still have a couple of spaces left, so message me now to reserve your spot bookings will close on Friday (or sooner if I fill all the spots)
So, do you want to see the cards? Well, of course ;-)
I have used the lovely Paisley Petals DSP as a basis for this months class and we will be making 2 of each of these cards.
Please message me now to avoid disappointment
That's all for today but thanks for stopping by,
I look forward to hearing from you soon,

Happy Birthday Evelyn!

Good Morning
Today is my good friend Evelyns birthday, Evelyn is a SU! demo in the Jems team too and I was lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time with her during convention and as we were both going home late on the Sunday we also spent an extra day in Disneyland Paris too, great!
Here she is overlooking the castle
what a fab day we had! So anyway, I made her a card using the gorgeous Pool Party with a touch of Calypso Coral and Basic grey, LOVE this colour combo from the Domestic Goddess DSP!!
I also stamped the coffee stirrer stems using tiny tags but they did run a touch after I had adhered them, doh!
I made the little pin wheels with the square punches from SU!, adding a flower brad in the centre of one (pic came out blurry so I dumped it!) and 1/2" DSP circles topped with crystal effects in the centres of the other two,
I used the scallop edge punch along the bottom and then used the mat pack and paper piercer to embellish this,
Yummy embossing frame was used here, it fits the large oval punch inside ;-) and the sentiment is from Perfect Punches which I inked using markers
Inside was stamped with Confetti in Pool Party along with the front of the card where I used versamark with this stamp, IYKWIM!
and finally, if you are still with me, an arty angle to finish :-D
Thanks for hanging in there, it is a bit picture heavy, I know!
Zack is off to a party today and I have more prep to do for the res of this weeks classes so I am off,
Thanks for stopping by today,

Catherines Special Day

Hello there today,
I hope your day is going well, I have done the dreaded supermarket shop this morning and have almost finished my new tutorial for the Charity Card Class too! Once I have finished this post I have a very long list to work my way through still, so no rest for the wicked eh?! lol!
Today is my SU! sisters birthday and so this is what I made for Catherine's special day :-)
I decide to use a couple of challenges to make this card, one to inspire, Paper and Such Design which gave us this pic to work from which I saw as Peach Parfait and Sahara Sand,
and a sketch challenge on  The Sweet Shop blog, this is their sketch, O.K. my interpretation of this sketch would be termed as "loose" ;-)
I used the lovely On a Pedestal stamp set, one I haven't used for a while ;-) with the top of the cake drenched in Dazzling Diamonds,
Some Stitching going on again with a little Perfect Punches for the sentiment
and some more sewing inside
Well, I hope Catherine has a lovely birthday and I will be back tomorrow, hopefully a little earlier, with some more cardy goodness,
Thanks for stopping by today, I love it when you come and visit :-D

Hello,
I know I am very late today with my posting, I have been chasing my tail today though getting lots of things organised, more fun details to follow ;-)
Anyway, I have a little post today to show you the favours I made for Zoe's birthday, I know it's a long time ago but I have had such a lot of other goodies to share with you and this one just kept slipping down the list!
As you can see I have made full use of my Mini Milk Carton die since I had it, I have used it here with some retired DSP and the Perfect Punches stamp set
I love how the pouring spout is scored so that they are easy to open,
and this last pic is just because I thought they looked like little roof tops, don't you think??
That's it from me for today, still got a million and one things to do :-D
 Have a great rest of your day,

Stacey's Birthday

Hello there,
I hope you are having a great weekend and I would like to wish all the mummy's out there a happy mummy's day today, I hope you are being thoroughly spoiled!
I would also remind you to hop over to the new challenge blog Simply Stampin' which started yesterday, we have a great prize up for grabs too :-D
So, Zoe went to a friends birthday party yesterday and so I needed a card for her to take as well as a holder for the giftcard we got her :-)
I used a colour combo of Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso chosen from the Colour Coach, {a great little tool that}
I wanted to use my NEW stamp set Jumble Alphabet, I earned this for FREE during Sale-a-Bration, you can too, email me now to find out more. I finished the name bt edging it with flowers from the boho blossoms punch and Basic Rhinestones,
as you can see I decided to use punched circles as the background on this card,
I embossed some with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and then covered some of the spots in Crystal Effects shown here..
Inside of the card got a little decoration too,
I made a quick Gift card holder like the one we made in our Christmas Packaging Class,
and here they both are together,
Well, Zoe said she had a lovely birthday party today and was pleased with her gift and card, I hope you like it too,
Thanks for stopping by today, enjoy the rest of "your" day,

Rich's Birthday

Hello there!
I have been very busy with classes the last two days and what a fun time we have had making candles and matching cards for Mother's Day! Thanks to all the ladies who came this month, and if you want to join us next month the dates are in my side panel, I would love to see you here :-)
Anyways, Saturday was our friend Richard's birthday and this is the card I made for him..
I used the Greenhouse Gala papers which are in the March Frenzy offer this month with 20% off! just £7.00, email me if you "need" some of these ;-) or any other SU! products.
This sentiment is from Perfect Punches and is designed to fit the XL oval punch with a little border, as you can see I chose to cut the first layer out {as there are lines to follow} and then layer the punched oval underneath.
R, C, and H were stamped onto SU! Vellum Card stock using Schoolbook Serif Alpha in Choc Chip. The beer mug is from Cheers to You and the froth was drenched in Dazzling Diamonds with the actual mug being coloured with blender pens (which are also in the March Frenzy promotion)

I also decorated the inside with a strip of off-cut DSP and two lines drawn with the Marker Pens, as you can see from the tiny photo I forgot to photograph the inside before I wrote in the card! doh! but you get the idea, right?
Well, that's today's card for you, I will be back tomorrow with Zoe's invites I have made for her sleepover this weekend, 4 girly girls on a sleepover, that's gonna be such fun, and they want to make a card at some point too ;-)  I will let you know how it goes!
Thanks for visiting today,

and I popped them in little cello bags before hand delivering them,

Hello...
...and welcome to the mad house! well it has been these last few days! You know how it is! How are your preparations going then? Mostly done too by now I hope??
Right then, today I have the tags I made for the teachers bottles of wine. They really do deserve these don't you think?! the basic idea came from the lovely Michelle, thanks hun x I changed mine around a bit taking colour inspiration from one of the swaps I made at convention; Concord Crush and Blushing Bride. Love the co-ordinating ribbon ;-)

Stamps used were Dasher, Delightful Decorations and Perfect Punches, I spritzed the base with shimmer spray too,
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and what have the kids been doing while I have been finishing making cards and wrapping gifts??
well the boys played for hours with a Volcano making kit on Tuesday ;-)
and then the little ones went to the dancing party tonight... and it was fancy dress! we wrapped Zack in paper to be a gift! and Zoe was Barbie in a gift bag!
Well, I hope you enjoyed that little look into the chaos that is my life right now (Loving it btw :-D)
and that your preparations are going equally as well,
