A Good Day with Narrow Notecards by SU!

Hello there,
Yesterday I had a really lovely day of crafting with friends. A card class in the morning and team meeting in the evening :-) I mean, I love to craft anytime but it's even nicer to craft with friends, right? I do have another class on Saturday with a few spare spaces so if you'd like to come along for a relaxed, informal card class then this one is for you. I'll walk you through three cards, step-by-step, and you can enjoy some "me time." Let me know!
So today I have a simple note card to share with you using the Narrow Notecards (these are a really lovely size) teamed with the "A Good Day" stamp set, lets see....
I used a baby wipe, dipped in an ink pad to make the swooshed background and coloured the image with Blends! Now, exciting new is some of the Sampin' Blends are available to order again! Whoop! Take a look in my shop HERE to see which ones are available and let's keep everything crossed for the rest to be back soon too ;-)
I used the coordinating mini scalloped punches to cut out the image and a layer behind (retired Soft Sky) and the sentiment is also from the set.
And that's all there is to it1 A quick and easy not to send to a friend. I like to keep a few of these kinds of card in my stash, ready to pop into parcels :-D
I'll be back here again tomorrow with a fresh, new challenge for Inspire. Create Challenges using more new stamps and dies so do hop by and take a look, plus I really love the paper I've used for the card, like really love it! I hope to see you here!

Making Tags for Gift Bags

Happy bank holiday Monday to you!
Honestly, we went out yesterday and it was just lovely, so hot and more like the height of summer than May, but I reminded hubby and the smallest child we had gone out the Sunday before and all wished we'd taken coats! It's a funny old thing the British weather, no wonder we have such a national obsession with talking about it ;-)
Anyhoo, I was browsing through to decide what to post this morning and I realised I didn't share these gift tags with you yet. I made two designs when we went to On Stage in Telford in April, one style to give to my downline and also one for Julie who organises our food each time we go away :-)
I'll start with my DL gift bags, they were decorated using both A Good Day and Tabs For Everything stamp sets...
Tags made with some of that lovely SaB paper, layered with a matching copper foil and thread topper with sentiments and image from "A Good Day"
I added in pens and post it note tabs for remembering where all those essential pages of the new catalogue with your new favourites on ;-) But, how cute are these little characters?
And of course, I also added chocolate!
So, for Julie's gift bag (containing choccy too ;-)) I used a Rose Red colour combo to match the bag, teamed with the Wood Words stamp set - Love Wood Words <3 nbsp="" p="">
Isn't Rose Red with gold just so classy and elegant? I will be sad when this colour retires at the end of May but happily the Wood Words stamp set is staying *so happy*
Well, this started out as a quick post but then as I added the second set of tags it took me much longer than I hoped, so sorry it's a bit later than planned before I published ;-)
I hope you have a lovely day in the sun on this long weekend,
Happy Stampin'

Bring On The Sunshine with A Good Day Stamp Set

Hello there and happy Sunday to you!
I have a super cute card to share with you today. It was one of those that wasn't planned, it just kind of evolved into this, but it turned out awesome! Can I say that about my own card? Well, I was chuffed to bits with how it turned out, so let me ask you, the experts, what you think....
I used the A Good Day stamp set, which is full of super cute images, but they are all quite small so I thought it would look great on this die cut tag from the Cake Soiree dies.
I coloured the image with my Blends again and added some stamped clouds from the Lift Me Up stamp set to add a little subtle interest to the plain card areas. I think I might be subliminally trying to channel the sunshine....
I like the mni staples holding up the twine but, is it a "marmite" thing or do you all like this accent too?
Well, do let me know what you think in the comments section :-)
Thanks so much for looking today, I hope you are having a really lovely Sunday, whatever you are up to!

A Good Day, Baby Deer Card.

Hello!
And welcome to my Cards and a Cuppa blog at the start of another week! I can hardly believe it's almost February already!! Feb is a busy month for us personally as we have not just one, but three birthdays at the end of the month here *--* I had better get making some cards then, right?! Lol.
OK, back to today's cute little notecard. I used the new narrow notecards and added in some more of that yummy Bubbles and Fizz SaB paper, I love all the patterns but those that are the "reverse" of the main papers are just gorg...
This adorable little deer frm "A Good Day" was stamped in Memento and coloured with blends.
TIP: I find the brush end of these Blends markers better for small images.
I used the new small (1+1/8" and 1+3/8") scalloped circle punches again as these images are just the perfect for the size for them, but you could also use circle framelits if you don't have the punches :-)
I then used a small circle of glimmer paper to give the image a little frame :-)
How adorable is this deer? Well, there's not a bad image in this set IMO! #supercute
OK, that's all from me for today. I hope you've enjoyed today's card? I have a day of wardrobe staining ahead of me :-/ But, at least I'll be able to tidy our clothes once it's done :-)
I hope you get a chance to craft today,
