and a side view to finish today's post!
OK, that's all form me for today, I have a ton of cards to share with you so I'll definitely be back tomorrow :-)

Gorgeous Grunge Class Card

Hello there,
I have a card today which was inspired by this card the very talented Jenni,
I loved the layout and was dying to try out my new Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and so this is my version.
I used a colour combo of Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe, another firm favourite.
My version has a few differences including the Chalk Talk label and some of the very pretty Cantaloupe ruffled ribbon too :-) I LOVE this stamp set, it's so versatile and whilst it doesn't replace the spritzer tool (which a lot of my ladies found hard to squeeze) it's a great alternative to make creative backgrounds and it's a lot more controlled too...
Plenty of layering on this tag..
and a close up of the ruffled ribbon and linen thread too :-)
OK, that's me for today, thanks again to Jenni for the inspiration!

Rev Up the Fun!

Hello there,
I have a cute card made using the new stamp set Rev Up the Fun
It's a fab little set with this cool car image plus a bike (I know a lot of people who have been wanting one of these!) and also including tyre tracks, dust and sentiments too! A fab all rounder and at just £13.95 in clear a bargain too!
So, I went with a Black and Pumpkin Pie colour combo for this card as I wanted to play with my Halloween Washi Tape early ;-)
And as you can see it works for lots more than just Halloween, gotta love Chevron!
this sentiment is included and it fits the Decorative Label punch perfectly. I added a Pumpkin Pie layer by punching an extra shape and snipping it in half across the centre to get this look..
and my favourite picture of this card showing all the elements and depth together :-)))
Well, that's today's card for you.
Just a quick reminder before I go:
I need your bookings for my CHRISTMAS KICK START CLASS  by THIS SUNDAY along with your colour choice too.

Washi Tape Cord Keepers

Hello there,
I have a cut way of keeping all those messy cords in order for you today. It was an idea I found on Pinterest (again ;-)) but I just loved the simplicity of it and so decided to have a little play. All you do is glue two wooden clothes pegs together, opposite ends away from each other, as shown..
Then simply decorate with Washi Tape and use them to wrap your cords and cables around to stop them getting in a jumble! Simples!
and here are the Washi Tape designs, L-R; Seasons of Style (Xmas tape), This and That,, Gingham GardenWitches Brew (Halloween), and more Seasons of Style :-)
Thanks for looking today and I'll be back soon with some cards for you,

Beautifully Baroque Thank-you

Hello there,
I'm a little later than I hoped today but I've finally found 5 mins to share today's card with you! ;-)
It's another one from this weeks class and it uses the new Beautifully Baroque stamp and some of the very lovely Smoky Slate chevron ribbon too.
(if you want to order from me directly PLEASE make sure my name is in the op right hand corner of the page :-) Or else go HERE and search the items you need, if you need any help then please do contact me)
I used a colour combination of Soft Sky with Smoky Slate, a very summery and elegant combo...
Just a little addition of ribbon, keeping it flat for posting but still adding that little "something" extra,
and the sentiment is from the set Sassy Salutations stamped in Midnight Muse
OK, I'm off to craft some more,
I hope you have enjoyed today's card, back soon with more!
Stampin' Hugs,

Phew! Well if you would like to read more pop over HERE for more details.
So, how about a sneak peek at some of the new goodies available in the new Autumn/Winter catty starting on the 29th August??
I am so excited to be playing with these products, I have had a blast designing cards for my All Day Kick Start Christmas Class running soon but had a break away to create something a little different...
I have used and abundance of New Products on this card. To start; the new expressions Thinlits, which is the "Merry" die cut on this card, LOVE these ;-)
lovely new silver ribbon around some Winter Frost DSP,
The cute, new, striped Embossing folder was used on the Apothecary Accents die cut frame and I added just the Christmas word from the "Christmas Messages" set which I had inked with a marker to get just this section and a stamp-a-ma-jig to position onto a strip of silver card
and the new Chevron Punch accent in the bottom corner to finish!
OK, that's all for today.
If you are interested in my new Virtual Hostess club or want to place an order or even just ask a question then please do get in touch :-))))

Six Sided Sampler with a New Ink Pad Top Tip!

Hello there,
I have a card today to share with you that we made at class this week using the cool Six Sided Sampler stamp set and matching Hexagon punch.
**EDIT TO SAY I ALSO HAVE A VIDEO WITH MY TOP 3 INK PAD TIPS HERE if you prefer :-)**
I wanted to try a little banner style card with this set and came up with this card.
I used the Honeycomb Embossing folder for the background on Pink Pirouette card with a Coastal Cabana card base..
I simply stamped and folded the hexagons for the banner securing just the centre one with dimensionals so there was still movement but so they didn't flip over all the time ;-)
sentiment is from the Sweet Essentials set, this sentiment actually reads "hello, baby" but I just inked the "hello" section using a marker :-)
OK, so top tip time! So, I love the new Stampin' Up! Ink Pads, they give fantastic coverage when stamping and your images are so much bolder. That said I found when they are new they are just too "juicy" and I was having trouble getting certain images to not bleed into the white areas! I have found this to be a tad frustrating-- please see below for an example of what I mean...
Now, I know you could blot some of the ink away but I don't have all the re-inkers and was worried if I over did this my ink pad would be too dry instead ;-) Soooo I came up with a compromise....
I simply took my Bone Folder and scraped the bottom half of my ink pad, several times, and pushed some of the excess ink to the top half of my pad, this way I can use the dryer bottom section to stamp and when I have used  it some more I can re-distribute the ink back over my pad and not have any waste!!
this is what it looks like, it does stay like this too even once it's stored* for a few days (*stored flat, don't know about if you keep them on their ends as I don't keep mine like that) obviously if it evens out simply re-scrape the pad.
and this is the difference when stamping with the "fixed" ink pad...
Well, I hope this helps if you are having the same troubles with your ink pads :-)
Thanks for visiting today,

So, shall we start with the catty? It's choc full of Christmas, Halloween and Autumnal goodies. The layout in this catty is a bit different with all the projects and designs at the front and then the products at the back, I'm sure we will all enjoy flipping through though to find all the goodies we "need" to add to our stash ;-)
Next up, an offer! 15% off when you purchase Papillion Potpourri and the matching Bitty Butterfly punch, to see a couple of cards I have made with either the stamp or the punch (or both ;-)) go HERE and HERE

I recently got my hands on this Pleasant Poppies stamp and was desperate to make a card with it so this is what I came up with...
I stamped onto Naturals White card and coloured in using my blender pens and ink pads
