7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 7: Cards with Mini Parcels with a Ribbon Wrapping Video Tutorial for Cards and Gifts!

Hello there,
and we are at the final day of this All Day Christmas Cards series :-( We had a lovely couple of days making these cards and I have loved sharing them with you here and hearing what you thought too, so thank you for stopping by :-)
OK, lets see this last card. It's a traditional style to finish this series but this design would work with just about any style of papers, just change up the twine to match. I will share a different, more CAS version later this week but shall we see these ones first...
So, here's a close up of the green version
A close up of the double bow on the parcel
This sentiment is from the Cozy Christmas. We heat embossed it in white then went over the sentiment with crumb cake ink using a sponge dauber to make it pop.
 Here's the holly version
More of those lovely enamel dots.
So, I just thought I would share these cards that I made first using the "Jingle All The Way" stamps for the sentiment. In the end I decided I wanted the sentiment to be a little more bold - which is why these didn't make the final cut for this class!
I do like the music notes paper for this design though ;-)
So, would you like to see how I tied these bows and more? Please, let me show you...
Well, I hope this helps with your wrapping on both cards and gifts ;-)
and a top view to finish today :-)
Thanks so much for looking today and I hope you have enjoyed this series?

7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 6: Heart and Home Window with Home for Christmas DSP Santa

Hi there,
And welcome to the penultimate post in this 7 days series of cards. I really hope you have enjoyed seeing what we made at my All Day Class over last week as much as we did making them!
Today's cards are a more modern card using the Hearth and Home Framelits - which are actually... window frames ;-) but they also have the dual use of being a hearth too, when teamed with the Festive Fireplace stamps. *Ahem* I only just realised that as I don't have that stamp set! Ooopsie!
Anyway, for this card I used the snowy pool party paper from the "Home For Christmas" DSP pack for the background and cut the santas from another sheet out to go on top. As the background of the santas paper also has this snowy effect they blend really well on this paper, take a look....
TIP: Spend a little time positioning Santa (glue him down) and the window (use dimensionals) before sticking them down so Santa has his full face in one of the window squares and not with the bar over his face.
Here's the silver version with those brilliant Christmas Greetings Thinlits (again)...
...And a more non-traditional black glimmer version! Proving, it's not just for Halloween ;-)
Remember, these thinlits are available as a bundle with their matching stamps (shown here) giving you a fab 15% off!
  Which version do you prefer?
And a top view to finish today.
Well, that's all from me for today. I'm having a much anticipated day out today so I'll pop back and share the products needed for today's and yesterdays cards later this evening (Monday pm).
Tomorrow is the last day for this series and I have also made little tips video for you which hopefully will help with not only your cardmaking but your Gift Wrapping too for this festive season and beyond! So, don't forget to pop back then,
but 'till tomorrow

7 Days of All Day Christmas Class Cards. Day 5: Wonderland Peace

Hi there,
And welcome to day 5 of this 7 day series. Today I'm going to share with you a card using Wonderland. This is another great stamp set and I have many more ideas I want to try using it!
You can see some other cards I have already made with this set HERE ;-)
OK, let's get on and see todays card shall we...
There is only a subtle difference in these two cards and that's the strip of paper across the stamped image.
We inked and stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow, moving the stamp along without re-inkng and stamping again to get this multi coloured image
A few more photos of these cards

All 7 posts will show after 3rd November 2015 :-)
I just love the wooden snowflakes and the enamel dots in the Autumn/Winter catalogue, so I just had to include them in the kit for this class - and use them generously of course!
All finished with a die cut gold Peace sentiment from the Christmas Greeting thinlits. I think these are my most used item from this catalogue ;-)
So, that's all from me for tonight.
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll be back tomorrow with another card from my All Day Christmas Class 2015!
