Apothecary Art with Gingham Garden DSP by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
Well, my weekend didn't exactly go as I planned Saturday morning. When I left you I was planning a nice trip to the beach with the fam. but unfortunately my Mum fell over a log in the forest and ended up with a rather large chunk of it stuck in her shin! Many hours at A&E later she was back at our house with strict instructions to keep the leg elevated. She is fine now though thankfully.
Sooo, today I have a card and gift combo to share with you. Last weekend was a lot less stressful as we visited Julie for her 40th birthday celebration in Yorkshire. We had a lovely weekend away, the first as just a couple for 17 years!
This is the card I made for the birthday girl...
I am loving this DSP from the new catty, it's called Gingham Garden and it's just lovely! I have used nearly a whole pack already!
I added layers of flowers using the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack to the Apothecary Art image,
 Midnight Muse stitched ribbon bow
and a touch of decoration inside to finish the card
I also managed to pick up this very deep frame which I personalised with the same paper  and (quite a few) 3d flowers
these flowers were made using the Secret Garden Dies following THIS TUTORIAL. The only difference was I used the largest die also as the depth of the frame would allow for the larger flower size
to make the sparkly letters I coated die cut letters in Crystal Effects then while it was still wet I added just a light sprinkle of Dazzling Diamonds, only removing the excess from around the name once it was completely dry.
these scrunched flowers were made in the same way just using the Boho Blossoms punch, notice the little clay flower there too?
and a Stitched Grosgrain ribbon flower. Guess what? I have a TUTORIAL for that too ;-)
and here they are both together to finish.
Right, bit of a long post in the end today but hopefully you have managed to stick with it!
Thanks as always for stopping by, I now have a date with an ironing board :-(

Apothecary Art by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I have a couple of cards today which we made at class I held during the summer, this time using the Apothecary Art stamp set. Don't worry, this set will be available again in a couple of weeks in the new catalogue!
I have now got just 2 places left on my new Stampers 6 club starting this October!!
and if you decide to join I will send you a copy right now of the fantastic new main catalogue, a copy of the lovely Autumn/Winter catalogue plus a FREE gift to welcome you too!!!!
Message me today to reserve a spot (or two) and be a hostess without the hassle!!

But I have so much to share with you that I am going to give you a double dose again today :-)
The first card is a colour combo of Rich Razzleberry, Sahara Sand and Pretty in Pink
Punched Boho Blossoms flowers with glass glitter centres
 and some Organza ribbon too
Now, for the second card we used marina Mist card with Crumb Cake DSP
We stamped the image straight onto Crumb Cake, which I think gives a lovely effect, then coloured in with a blender pen, don't mention my wonky sentiment though ;-)
Right, I'm off, I have loads to do today again ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today, I love you visiting!

Twitterpapated Cards and Bag

Hello,
I am back to it today after having a lovely day out with hubby yesterday, I have loads to do again but first I wanted stop by here and share with you the first part of our all day class with you, as promised ;-)
We began with this project making a set of four cards and a matching bag using the gorgeous Twitterpated papers and Apothecary Art, now this is definately a "need" stamp set and I don't mind saying I was not bothered by it when I first had it... but once I started playing with it, Oh wow! It is lovely!
All made with a colour combo of Baja Breeze and Cherry Cobbler....
I know, the red in the paper is Riding Hood Red but I like Cherry more so we used that and I think it worked perfectly
and the last one of the set
then we made a matching bag to keep the cards in, many thanks to Jules for the template, sharing what she loves! :-)
Well, that's today's share for you, I will be back tomorrow with some Father's Day class sneaks, Look forward to seeing you then,
Please remember I have just 3 places left for my Stamper's club which starts very soon, message me to join the fun!
Thanks for stopping by today,

100 Years Young with Apothecary Art by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
I have been very busy today making projects and cards ready for my All Day Class which is being held on the 27th May, please book your place now as there are just 5 places left already! We had such a lovely time at the last all day class with plenty of fun and great project ideas for you to make and repeat at home too.
So, onto the 100th birthday card, this was made for a friend who's Mum couldn't find a nice 100th card in the shops, I hope she likes this one!! ;-)
I used Shimmer and Wisteria Wonder card with the lovely new Apothecary Art stamp set and the matching Framelits dies, LOVING these new products in the Summer Mini!!
Some Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon was secured with a Antique Brad
a few pearls add a touch of class for a lady who makes such a special age
and I finished the inside right with a printed sentiment, on the left I re-inked the stamp, stamped it off and stamped it inside to make a faint image and I did the same with the sentiment to match the front like a watermark.
Well, it is right now winging it's way to Australia, I just hopes she likes it when it arrives so she can give it to her friend ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today!
