Last Christmas Makes of 2016!

Hello there,
So, as I didn't get a chance to blog the last few of my makes from Christmas I thought I might do one last 'combined' post for you to share the last of them with you. You now, just incase you have purchased these stamps/punches or kits and want to save them for next year? ;-)
My first card is one that can easily be adapted to make a fresh spring card by simply changing out the Christmas bell. I'll share a new version soon....
Colours used were (L-R) Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky and Mint Macaron.
Now, this second card uses masking to make the branch from Holly Berry Happiness into a larger bough. I stamped it once in the centre then another two times either side before lightly watercolouring them using my clear Wink of Stella pen to make this card...
Here are a few non-Christmas ways to use your Cookie Cutter Christmas and Halloween stamps and punch...
A Firefighter, a Ninja and a Lumberjack :-)
And finally for today I absolutely loved making the tin of tags kit. I changed them up, just a bit, from the suggested ideas adding a little extra ribbon and foiled paper here and there. I used lots on my presents including adding some of them to these stamped and dry embossed paper bags this christmas :-)
Well, that's all from me for today and for Christmas projects too (for a while anyway!)
I'll have some new products and projects for you tomorrow, 'till then,

Using the Popcorn Box for Gift Giving for Christmas (or Birthdays)

Hi there,
Todays project is perfect for those difficult to buy for folks in your life. I mean if they don't want SU! for Christmas unfriend them! he he, I mean this project might work instead!
I have a couple of teens here and they all like to visit the cinema so I purchased a gift voucher but I wanted to make it look a bit more special, so I turned to the brilliant Popcorn Box Die to make this...
I die cut the box and added a gold glimmer paper reindeer to the front after adding a black bakers twine bow-tie.
I have filled the box with sweets and popped in a cinema gift voucher.
Sweet treats and ticket money all ready to go straight out - just choose a film!
I then popped the whole thing in a cello bag tied with gold bakers twine and added a tag from the tin of tags kit.
Feel free to Pin this idea for when you are stuck for gift ideas!
I'd love to receive this for christmas, what about you?

Navy and Copper Hang Your Stocking Card

Hello there,
I have the final card I designed for my Hang Your Stocking class today (you can see the others HERE) and I decided to use the Floral Boutique DSP as I thought the pattern was like falling snow, don't you? I then used the small star shaped stamp on the paper and heat embossed it in copper for a little added interest, what do you think...
I also used the new stitched shape framelits, these are currently unavailable but you can pop in your email and SU! will send you a message when they return, I do love them and they are perfectly designed to match your existing circles, ovals and square layering framelits by SU!
This sentiment is from the stamp set too, I love that mix of fonts!
I do love navy (and copper) and in fact I have just painted my lounge Navy, that's why I have been a little short on blog posts this week ;-) You can have a quick look over on Instagram if you're interested...
Well, that's all for today, I have a rather long list of things to do today (nothing new there, eh?) but thanks as ever for looking today!

Hang Your Stocking by SU! to make Sparkly Cards!

Hello!
I hope you are well? I am in the middle of decorating here, no, not for Christmas but I (perhaps foolishly) decided I was going to re-decorate the lounge this week. Hubby is working away and I have been at work too so it's been a bit of a busy few days here!
Anyway, I am back with more Hang Your Stocking cards* today to share with you using plenty of Glimmer Paper, take a look...
*see the other cards in this series HERE*
So, this is the pink pirouette and smoky slate version, the little 'snow' effect is made using two of the small stamps from the set and versamark on the slate card.
TIP: To adhere your fine stocking die cuts use a sponge dipped in tombow on a silicone mat to coat the back of the die cut.
And this one is in more traditional colours but just as pretty! The snow on here is stamped using crumb cake ink as versamark doesn't show up on vanilla and white card.
I love the smooth look of the foil sentiment combined with the glimmer of the stockings.
And both together to finish today!
I hope you've enjoyed today's cards? I'll be back tomorrow with more, but for now, thanks for looking!
