Bubble Over for an Inspire. Create Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome to this fortnights challenge with Inspire. Create and this week we have a really lovely colour challenge to share with you.
I decided to use this soon to be retiring set Bubble Over. I will be keeping this in my stash, for sure! Let's see the card...
I added Poppy Parade to the bottles with a sponge dauber after I'd already inked them with the Pumpkin Pie. I then die cut them and added them over some stamped bubbles, one flat and the other with dimensionals.
I added little toppers to the bottle fronts with dimensionals.
TIP 1: Roll the small punched images in the (same colour) ink pad so you don't have the white card core showing.
I added a sentiment stamped onto vellum which
TIP 2: I heat embossed with clear powder to ensure it wouldn't smudge.
Add a few enamel shapes and that's it done!
We'd love if you joined in with this colour challenge and for loads more inspo please do head over and see what the rest of the DT have made HERE
Thanks so much for looking today :-)

Using Healing Hugs by Stampin' Up! for a Birthday.

Hello there,
Today's make uses one of my favourite stamp sets, Healing Hugs, and I made this card as part of a colour challenge on our team group. I must admit it was a colour combo I wasn't sure what I was going to do with at all on at first glance...
...but I must admit I am pleased with how the card came together in the end!
I combined the Grapefruit Grove and the Merry Merlot together on the rose image which inspired me to team the Pool Party with a little Pear Pizzazz to give a similar effect to the leaves.
This lovely frame is from the Laser-Cut DSP pack and I added a stitched edge oval for the sentiment in the centre, both adhered over a "Tufted" embossed piece of crumb cake card.
Finish with some copper thread and a few matching coloured sequins for that essential sparkle!
So, that's all from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another make :-)

Dandelion Wishes for a Colour Challange

Hello!
I'm a bit later today as I didn't get a chance to schedule this post last night as we went out yesterday which was really nice.
Anyway, for my make today I used a colour challenge from our team group organised by the lovely Uma! I haven't managed too many of these due to being away a lot this summer but I plan on going back and catching up once I get home and have a chance ;-)
Here are the colours we needed to use...
I loved this colour combo when I saw it (probably because Lovely Lipstick has fast become my "go to" colour!) and I'm sure I'll use it again, what do you think...
I inked up the Dandelion Wishes image with Pineapple Punch then used a sponge dauber to add Lovely Lipstick to the centre.
I added a few rhinestones (for a change) and the sentiment is from the same set :-)
So, I'm all about the colour challenges on here this week, right? Will you give this one a go too? :-D
Thanks for looking today, I'll be back tomorrow with another Christmas make!
 'Till then, happy stamping,

Colour Challenge with Tropical Chic for Inspire. Create Challenges.

Hello!
And welcome to another challenge with Inspire. Create. Challenges.
It's a super summery colour combo this week with Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist. It reminds me of the Caribbean and cocktails in coconuts... *dreams*
So for this colour challenge I really took the bull bull by the horns and fully embraced these colours so my card is super vibrant which is different for me, I know, but I kinda like it ;-)
Lets see the card shall we, I used Tropical Chic which I must admit I'm finding it really hard to put this set down right now! I just want to use it for everything...
Love this little die that gives you a leafy window.
TIP: To make the Lemon Lime Twist layer show under the Bermuda Bay top layer simply turn by a quarter.
I added some stamped, tiny leaves at the bottom of the card front before adding the sentiment strip.
TIP: Use versamark on any coloured card (not white or vanilla) for a subtle look. You don't have to have every ink pad colour {right away} ;-)
Finish with a Melon Mambo leaf and a few clear sequins (from my stash)
What a fun colour combo. You can see what the rest of the DT have made HERE on the challenge blog which is where you can also upload your creations too! Please do join us in this fun challenge, we'd love to see what you create with it!
