Easter Blossoms

Hi there,
I'm back, as promised! I have a little card today which actually uses a retired Easter stamp set as I had a request to make an Easter card at class but unfortunately I hadn't got the new Easter stamp set in time (Eggstra Spectacular) so I pulled this out of my retired box and had a play. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed colouring this set ;-)
I used a colour combo of Smoky Slate and Rose Red to make this card...
the branch was stamped using staz on and I coloured the flowers using my blender pen
adding a seam binding bow and an Easter sentiment to finish
Short and sweet today as we are off out for the day!
Thanks for looking :-)

Stampin' Up Watercolour Technique

Hello there,
Today I have a technique that I saw on the very talented Betsy Veldman's blog where she shared a watercolour technique where by you heat emboss your image onto watercolour paper, ink it up with a sponge, I did it quite randomly, and then spritz it generously with water before leaving to dry. HERE is Betsy's full description and beautiful card.
And here is the card I made, I used Easter Blossoms and Wisteria Wonder SU! ink keeping it monochrome...
a close view of the branches, such a pretty set which I am going to miss when it goes at the end of the month, if you need it then remember to order before the 30th April!
This sentiment is also in the Easter Blossoms set prettied up with Pearls
I hope you like this and I think I might give this ago again, I enjoyed making this one :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Stampin' Up! Easter Blossoms

Hello there,
I have another card today with the soon to be retiring Easter Blossoms, but I have given it a slightly different take today, I think this would make a perfect, elegant birthday card??
I stamped the branch in black Stazon and watercoloured it using the Craft white Ink pad and a water brush. then went over the centre points of the flowers using a blender pen, again with the white ink. Once dry I heavily spritzed the card with shimmer most
finishing with a flat bow and rhinestone
If you love this stamp set remember it will be in-available after the end of the month!
Thanks for looking today.

Easter Blossoms Class

Hi there,
I am here today with the details of my Easter Blossoms class being held on the 17th, 19th and 20th of march, spaces are filling fast so please message me to join in the fun with our friendly ladies. New members are always welcome and we have a really great time playing with ink, eating cake, and you come away with some beautiful cards too :-)
We will be learning a few techniques at this class, bows, faux mother of pearl and double stamping too :-)
Also this morning in the post I received this little cutie pie I won in a blog giveaway from the very talented and generous Ann, I am so happy to have won, she is beautifully made (of course!) and she is already sitting on my desk watching me (not) create ;-)
and together with the card Anne made, thanks again Ann, I love her and have named her Florence already!
Well, that's me for today, I hope you can join us at class soon
