Fable Friends for Inspire. Create. Challenges

**EDIT** Well, didn't I make a giant mess up of this post? This was supposed to post on the 20th March but I managed to post it on the 14th and unfinished post at that! *facepalm*
So, as so many have seen it already I'm just going to leave it at the top of my blog until the 20th and apologise profusely to my teammates! I do hope you'll head over to the ICC blog and see their inspiring makes today too! xx
Hello there,
Today I have a card that we made at class this week using the Fable Friends stamp set which ties in (loosely) with the theme at Inspire. Create. Challenges theme of "Pets"
As I don't really have any pet stamps I figured this little duck would work well as lots of people keep ducks as pets, right?
I stamped the image with staz on ink onto watercolour paper before colouring with blender pens and ink pads. You could also stamp with memento ink then heat with clear embossing powder, if you don't have staz on, before watercolouring.
I added gingham papers across the bottom of the card and a few little hearts from the Forever Lovely stamp set.
TIP: For stamping onto textured watercolour paper a stamparatus is perfect so you can restamp a couple of times to get a good, clear image.
I hand cut the duck, adding her to a velum oval and finishing with a sentiment also from the Fable Friends stamp set, layered onto a Pretty Label punched tag.
So, I hope you have enjoyed today's post whether this is the first or second time you have seen it!
More ideas for cards with the "pets" theme on the ICC blog. Please do join us with your pet makes this fortnight :-)
Happy stampin'

Flying Home for Easter

Hi there,
Today I have a card using the Flying Home stamps made for Easter :-) I adore this set and if you need an easy Easter make then this is fab, see....
I stamped on regular whisper white card as I coloured this image with Blends but you could also use ink pads and an aqua painter too. Just stamp on Shimmer card, thick white card or probably the best, watercolour paper, instead.
Sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, I haven't used this set in a while!
TIP: To trim it out easily, use the Classic Label Punch and trim the ends square.
The pretty, yellow paper is the Bubbles and Fizz Sale-a-Bration DSP. I think what is considered the reverse is what I've used the most. Gotta love double sided DSP!
OK, that's all from me for today, what are you making today?
Back tomorrow with more crafty goodness!

Basket Bunch Easter Tags

Hello there,
Today is sadly the last of my Easter projects I have to share with you :-( I have loved making all these projects and sharing them with you the last week or so.
Today I have a set of four cute tags that I made for some extra baskets of Easter treats I needed.
I didn't have enough of the Egg Cartons for everyone and so I picked these strawberry baskets up in town a couple of weeks ago and they matched SU! Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay perfectly! How cool.  So, of course, I made lovely tags to match...
First, a Calypso Coral pastel bunny mix.
A Bermuda Bay tag with carrots, love these little carrots!
Another Coral tag this time with a grassy pick and mix.
And to finish a Bermuda Bay egg hunt.
And all together to finish today.
Thanks so much for joining me this week for Easter treats! I do hope you have enjoyed this weeks makes as much as I did making them and maybe they have helped you with your Easter crafting too?

Day Two of Basket Bunch CAS Card Weekend

Hello and welcome to day two of this, my little weekend of CAS cards using Basket Bunch!
I do hope you enjoyed yesterday's post and three cards? If you missed it you can see them HERE :-)
So, let's get started on today's cards shall we? This first card today uses die cut eggs on a stamped and watercoloured grassy border. Again I have used thick white card to stamp on with a mint macaron card base however these eggs were stamped onto shimmer white card, as you can see they do watercolour a little better on this card...
Here I stamped three bunnies from the Basket Bunch set in Flirty Flamingo. I did not like the colouring (in matching ink) on the centre bunny so I stamped and die cut another and added it with a little half a dimensional.
As they say, there's no mistakes in crafting, just a chance to embellish ;-)
And finally for this series a cute choccy bunny card :-)
And all together to finish today.
Well, I do hope you have enjoyed this weekends cards?
Missed the other's? Remember you can see yesterday's cards HERE!
