Five Days Of Botanical Blooms - Bonus Day!!!

Welcome to todays (unexpected) blog post!
So what happened was.... A couple of weeks ago I had a class using the brilliant Botanical Blooms bundle and, as you will have seen over the last few days, I wanted to share with you all the cards I designed. I was just adding to the finishing touches to yesterday's fifth and (supposedly) final blog post when I found the sixth card I made! Yes folks, I made a really big boo boo when starting this series and mis-counted! Rather than go back and edit the whole series I just decided to be totally honest and 'fess up to you all. Sorry about that, but you do get another card so it's not all bad, right?

So, let's see the sixth and bonus card in this series shall we? I used a Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride on white colour combo for this card. It was actually the first one I designed for this class :-)
I inked and stamped and burnished these flowers to make them pop, sentiment is from the Floral Wings, hostess only set. You can choose this with orders over £150, combine orders with friends or on your own ;-)
Adding both silver and white gel pen spotty centres
and the new Timeless Textures stamps were used for the background
I often use sketches to kick start my mojo and this card was no exception. I found this sketch on Pinterest from the Cardabilities blog. The original post can be found HERE.
Well, I hope you enjoyed todays bonus card? and why not try using sketches next time you're stuck for ideas? Let me know how you get on :-)

Don't forget the last ever couple of weeks of the weekly deals are here. Grab a bargain today in MY SHOP.

Five Days of Botanical Blooms. Day 5: Botanical Gardens DSP Shaker Card

Hello,
And welcome to day 5 in this mini series! I really hope you have enjoyed these five, very different ways to use the Botanical Blooms Bundle?
To see all five cards in this mini series please *CLICK HERE* or
to see all the cards I have made using this bundle *CLICK HERE*
So, today I have a cute shaker card inspired by THIS SHAKER CARD that I made back in January where I used the DSP to cover the whole card...
I used the largest flower die in the set to make the shaker window on this card
Banners and sequins decorate the corner
This sentiment is from another set I haven't used in a while Crazy About You
I do like a shaker card ;-)
And a top view to finish today!
Ok, so that's all from this mini series, I hope you have enjoyed it?? Don't worry though, I still have a ton of other cards to share with you so I'll be back tomorrow with more :-)

Before I go just a note to say that the Weekly Deals are stopping on the 19th April. They are being replaced by a different offer but this week there are loads of exciting offers to choose from, TAKE A LOOK HERE

Five Days of Botanical Blooms. Day 4: Faux Fabric 3d Flower using the Botanical Builder Dies - with Video Tutorial

Hello there,
And welcome to day four of five in this mini series and today I have a card with a quick Video Tutorial for you too!
To see the other projects in this mini series please **CLICK HERE**
So, this is the card I made using the Botanical Builders Framelit dies to make this 3d scrunched faux fabric flower. I made this card in a Mint and Wisteria colour combo and teamed it with Watercolour Words for the sentiment, take a look...
Once I had made this flower I thought it looked like a felt or fabric flower, what do you think?
Perhaps a double petunia (with thanks to my Mum for remembering the name!).
Sentiment is from Watercolour Words, love this set!
And a side view, this card would fit in an envelope but it would make a real wow as a special card in a box, I think...
So, here's the quick video sharing how I made this flower
Well, I hope you enjoyed that??
And for those who like photos to go with it, here you go!
Please do watch the video for more tips on how to assemble :-)
Love this little flower. I will make another card using the one I made in the video soon too ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today, I'll be back tomorrow with the fifth and final card in this series, hope you can stop by!
