Happy Birthday to our Zoe!

Good morning,
Today is our (not so) little Zoe's 10th Birthday, I know everyone says this but I can hardly beleive it's been 10 years! and she is just growing up so fast at the minute too, becoming a real young lady :-D
Anyway, after yesterdays Tutorial  I promised I would share with you the card, and it is all decorated for Zoe's birthday,
 Broadsheet Alphabet used to write Zoe, Just Perfect Alpha for "today" and the hearts were punched using the heart to heart punch,
XL Fancy Flower punch out,
and finally sentiment is from Curly Cute, I inked the "Happy" first with markers, then "Birthday" and stamped it underneath, and I got it in the right place first time without a samaj, get me! ha ha! I punched it out with the XL oval punch and edged with scalloped oval punch outs to finish,
Well, I hope you like Zoe's birthday card from us, must dash as I have to get ready for this evenings tea party but I will be back soon with some more loveliness to share with you all,

A Card for Jess

Hello,
I had to make a card this week for Zoe who was going to her friend Jess' 10th birthday party on Saturday.
I made a card for fathers day last year with this same 9 square layout with different toppers in each square, so I thought I would have a go at making a girly one. I loved this paper from the Sweet and Sour speciality in Rose Red and Very Vanilla, it is from the pack we used for this months card class but I think quite different to all the ones we used then, scalloped squares are in Perfect Plum which co-ordinates perfectly, don't you think?? ...

The little images are from Every Little Bit, Heart to Heart punch, and Punch Bunch in the top left corner with a matching button in the bottom right, here you can also see I added Crystal Effects to some of the bits,

Inside I used Engraved Greetings with a little border,

Arty Angle, I popped up some of the squares and/or some of the images,

Well that's all for today, I hope you like today's card. I have a few cards/gifts to be making today so I will have something to share with you for the rest of the week (hopefully ;-))
Have a great day whatever you are up to,

A Card to match Zoe's top and a Winner

Good afternoon,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a lovely time with my class ladies this Saturday where they all enjoyed making their Fathers Day cards and folded pouch. See HERE for the card.
Onto today's inspiration, Zoe has a lovely checked top which she was wearing when we were away last weekend, I looked at it and saw the lovely new colour Soft Suede which are teamed in the top with Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue ;-)
and this is what I made using my new set 'I {heart} Hearts' punched with the 'Heart to Heart' punch,
I layered some with dimensionals and coated some with crystal effects,
and a close up of the gem brad which I used to hold a little loop in the ribbon.
I hope you like my little card I sent it to my SU! sister Lynda who's birthday it was on Saturday. Happy Birthday Lynda xx
Have a good rest of the day and I will be back tomorrow with another milk carton :-)

Lucy Birthday, part 2 and a special offer 'till Wed only

Good morning,
Yay, it's the weekend!! whoop whoop!
Yesterday I showed you the card I made for Lucy, now that was great fun to make but about a week ago her lovely hubby got in touch and asked me to make her a birthday card... but not just from him, but 1 each from their 2 kids too! Well, obviously I was very touched to be asked, but way! 4 cards for 1 lady... not easy! So, this is the one I made for Pete to give to her :-)
I went with a vintagey feel to this one using the Love You Much stamp set (p 26),
I masked the bids and stamped the heart in the background, then water coloured in some details with a blender pen in Sage Shadow to match the card,
These little hearts were stamped from Love You Much and punched with the Heart to Heart punch then joined with linen thread, sentiment is from Cheer and Wishes (p 62)
This little detail is on the inside and comes from Sealed with a Kiss (p 26) a cute little set which I use quite a bit for anniversary cards,
and finally the arty angle,
I will be back Monday with another card for Lucy ;-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally for today my special offer for you but only 'till Wednesday, I am offering you post and packing for just £2, no matter how much you order (usually 5% or £3.95, whichever is greater) direct to your door, that is in conjunction with the SU! special offer for this month which is 20% off punches when purchased with selected stamp sets plus my prize draw to win a level 1 stamp set (see top post)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All that's left to say is wishing you all a fab weekend and
thanks for stopping by,

All in the Family Baby Card

Good morning to you,
I have been a busy stamper this week :0)
So when I found out that one of Zacks friends at school had gotten a new baby brother I thought to myself "great!" and what better excuse to make a card?? I fancied making neutral one (Sahara Sand to be more precise) instead of the usual baby blue, gee, I hope she likes it....

I also wanted to dust off my All in the Family set as I haven't played with it for ages, well it seems like ages anyway..

When I had finished it I thought it looked a bit bare so I punched out these little hearts with the Heart to Heart punch and topped them with Glossy Accents,

Ribbon is from stash, DSP is Sahara Sand from the Level 1 Hostess pack, Sentiment is a retired SU! set,
Thanks for dropping by, do let me know what you think,

Love you much

Hiya,
As promised here is the card I mentioned earlier, I have been having a little play around with this yummy new set which I got for Christmas along with it's matching punch,
For this set of 4 cards (more of which I will be showing you over the next few days) I have used a colour combination of Kraft, Real Red and Chocolate Chip, Love this combo :0)

Stamped using Choc Chip ink, the hearts are punched out then dropped through the Kraft and stuck straight onto the Real Red base, small clear brad added to the middle of the flower,

the side is scored and held together with linen thread, Choc Chip card along the bottom scalloped with the scallop edge punch.

All supplies used are SU! and available through lil' ole me :0)

finally here is a piccie of the kids once they had come home from school and went out to make their snowman,

Take care in the snow,
I'll be back tomorrow with some more from this set and all schools are closed! yay! no early morning!
