Umbrella Weather Dies with a Watercoloured Rainbow Background

Hello there,
I hope you are enjoying the weeknd?! I am having a much needed break from working but I thought I would pop on here and share a card I made just a little while ago as I have about a million cards to share with you!!
I had made this watercolour background with a selection of (mostly subtles) ink pads on shimmer card previously without a particular project in mind. At first I was going to just place it behind the die cut windows but it sort of lacked any 'punch'. Then it struck me to emboss the panel with the Hexagon embossing folder! I loved the end result of this card and so I gave it to my friend for her birthday recently :-) Take a look....
I used shimmer card for the top layer as well, stamped with the hearts from the matching Weather Together stamps. Sentiment is from the Dragonfly Dreams set.
I love the extra deep impression the 'Dynamic' folders give. It's a little hard to see how awesome they are in a picture, but I did try - so here a few extra close photos ;-)
All finished with a few sequins from my stash, silver thread and an enamel shape!
So, that's today's card! I hope you like it?
Thanks so much for looking today:-)

Rainbow Swirl with Hexagon Embossing Folder and Dragonfly Dreams.

Hi there,
Last week I spent an evening playing around with some watercolouring and came up with this circular rainbow background. I must admit it did sit on my shelf for a few days whilst I thought about what to do with it before I had a little brainwave to emboss it with my hexagon folder and OMGeeee! I love how it transformed this simple watercolour piece!
I then added a sentiment and die cut dragonfly from the (also unused :-o) Dragonfly Dreams bundle to make this....
Loving this embossing folder!! It just pops so brilliantly!
I die cut the whole dragonfly from vellum and then just the body (I trimmed it to neaten it) from the lovely SaB glimmer paper. Sentiment is also from the Dragonfly Dreams bundle.
I'm dead chuffed with how this card turned out especially as when I made the background I had no idea what I was going to make with the end result ;-)  What do you think?
Last few days of SaB 2017, order going in today and 30th March or you can shop in my Online Store...
