Hello, You

Hello,
I have what was supposed to be a quick make to show you today, but you know how it is, i just kept adding to it as I thought it needed a little something extra! and then the sewing machine came out and well, this is what I ended up with ;-) I must apologise for my photos today, the colours just aren't very good, I think it is because I took the pics first thing this morning and it was quite grey and dull,
I started with a combo from the Colour Coach but once I had started to make it I realised I had picked up the Certainly Celery DSP instead of Wild Wasabi, I like this combo though with Perfect Plum and So Saffron,
I used my old faithful set Pocket Silhouettes, I haven't used this set an absolutely ages, it's really pretty though, don't you think?
This sentiment is from the same named stamp set, it is tucked away at the back of the main catalogue on page 86 if you fancy a look :-) Here I inked it with the markers to get a two toned effect and punched it with the new Decorative Label punch I also added some 3mm taffeta ribbon with a button to finish,
and a little pic of the inside which I went to town a bit with ;-)
Well that's it for today, don't forget my special offer for June and July, I have very few spare days or evenings left during July so contact me now to make a date for YOUR home workshop or to place an order delivered direct to your door, there are more details HERE, and lastly for today this is the last week or so to reserve your place at my charity card making class more details HERE, this class is also available mail order.

Pocket Silhouettes

Good Morning,
How's your weekend been? We haven't done much, a drive into town to give some friends a lift to their cruise (lucky ducks) which should have taken about 25 mins which actually took me a whole hour as everyone around Southampton decided as it was raining that shopping in town seemed like a great idea ;-) and just pottering round Sunday, a bit of cleaning and washing and then some prep for next months class, how's that for organised?! I am going to make up the sample to take with me to the Papercraft show next Saturday, I hope to see some of you there? email me for more details and directions if you need them.
Enough waffling, here's today's card, I haven't used Pocket Silhouettes for absolutely ages and I really don't know why 'cause it's lovely??! I was inspired to use it by my SU! sis Sarah, Thanks for the reminder hun x
Colours used are Basic Grey, Melon Mambo and Taken with Teal, Love this combo!
A little {blurry} picture of the inside,

And finally I layered the sentiment and the Melon panel, adding crystal effects to the punched circle to make a faux brad,
Well, that's it for today, Have a great Bank Holiday Monday.
Back tomorrow with more crafty goodness,
Thanks for stopping by, Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx

Happy Birthday Stacey

Wow, what a lovely day it is again today, I have been very busy this morning and have mowed the lawn and potted up some beans, now just got to finish tidying up the mess!! I just love the summer :0) Long may it last (not according to the weather forecast last night tho) I do hope it is lovely wherever you are.
Anyway, I do have a card for you today. It is one which I made for the lovely Stacey, Happy Birthday hun ;-)

The other day I was doing a bit of hopping and came across this lovey blog, when I saw this fantastic card I just had to CASE it . I hope you don't mind Jen :-)
As you can see I rotated it to fit the stamps I have, Love the colours of Jens but I decided to go with tones of purple for mine. I coloured whisper white ribbon with an ink pad and a sponge dauber so it is a perfect match for the perfect plum card stock. Pocket silhouettes stamped in Perfect Plum and Pale Plum and sentiment from Cheer and Wishes.
I hope you have a lovely day Stacey,
Right- got to get back to work in the garde- then hopefully I can sit out there later on.
Hugs to all, Sarah-Jane xx

Evening All ! Welcome to our monthly challenge between us SU! sistas! This month was a 3D item challenge set by the super talented Sarah B.

Well to say I found this a challenge would be the understatement of the decade!!! Not least 'cause I know how fab Sarah B is with all things 3D !! I hope they are O.K. Sarah? and thanks for the wonderful challenge, it's good to step outside the old comfort zone once in a while xx

Here they are a little closer up, Just realised that the white one doesn't look very gold, but it really is, Honest!! Light was fading a little when I took these photos.
Materials used were: Cartons and lovely cotton string supplied by Sarah, Pocket silhouette stamps (SU!) with gold and white embossing powder and a couple of buttons all from stash.

Right, I am off to look round the other girls projects now, looking forward to seeing their creations, Thanks for stopping by,
