Oh Happy Day Card Kit by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
Today I want to talk about card kits! And in particular the new "Oh Happy Day" card kit in the catalogue. It can be found on page 6 and 7 of the CATALOGUE and, like all the SU! kits,  it's a great way to get your craft on with minimal supplies, in fact everything you need is included in this kit except your adhesive. You could even take this little beauty on holiday ;-)
We got to have a little play with a card from the kit at Telford (we had a lot of special treats there didn't we? BTW if you join SU! you have the chance to join in this November) and I made this cute heart fold over card with the make and take kit there...
I added the die cut flowers with dimensionals
 Cute huh?
 And it opens like so
And look at all these lovely samples using supplies from the kit...
So, if you fancy getting a few friends together then I am happy to come to you or have you here and share these lovely kits with you, they are an instant party in a box!
Or of course, maybe for those further away or if you just want something fun and easy to make, you can just order your own (or a few) from my shop and have some crafty fun at your leisure. Whichever option suits you I hope you have a play with some of the lovely kits in the new catalogue :-)
To arrange a private class with me (min 6 people) then please do drop me a line.
Thanks for looking today, back tomorrow with a new project.
'Till then, hugs,

Two of a kind using the Stampin' Up's 'You're So Lovely' Card Kit

Hello there,
After a fab weekend away I'm back today with a double helping of cards from the You're So Lovely Kit. These are both a little different to the instructions included with the kit so let's have a peek...
I love this card in pink and gold it's be great to change up that sentiment for a wedding, don't you think?
And a wisteria Wonder version. Now, as you may have seen there are just two sponge brayers included in the kit so these extra colours were made using the standard sponges instead.
TIP: The sponge brayer works best when using the small chevron mask in this kit but sponges are fine with the larger masks.
Pop a few sequins (from my stash) and you're done. Pretty cards, easily!
And some gold embossing for the sentiment finishes this card perfectly.
Last 36 (or so) hours for the Weekly Deals.
Don't forget to have a peek before they go at 11pm GMT Tuesday.
Thanks for looking today! I really hope you enjoyed this double helping of cards?

Make a Gold and Mint Diamond with Stampin' Up's "You're So Lovely" Card Kit

Hello there,
and happy Sunday to you! I have another card from the You're So Lovely kit we used at a class a wee while ago.
For this card I wanted to add a little something extra so I decided to heat emboss the diamond in Gold powder and I teamed it with Mint Macaron, take a peek....
It really has a lovely shine to it in real life, hopefully you can see it a bit here?
I only glued the ends of this banner down (using Tombow) so it popped up a little.
This sentiment is actually from the Helping Me Grow stamp set, it fits perfectly in the banners from the kit.
and I even decorated the envelope to match ;-)
I hope you liked todays card. This kit would be fab for most crafters with just a couple of ink pads. You can take a look HERE for more kit details and HERE for the co-ordinating stamps.
Thanks for looking today :-)

I'm Back!! with a Card from the "You're So Lovely Project Kit"

Hello,
Have you missed me? I am so sorry for my prolonged absence from the old blogeroo, I was away on my holidays during February (for which I scheduled plenty of posts to keep you busy) but I have been poorly ever since my return, in fact I have only started to feel better in the last two or three days!
Anyway, enough about me, how are you? And have you been crafting much?? I did have a class at the end of February so I made a few cards using the gorgeous "You're So Lovely" project kit which was just perfect for some easy, fun crafting - just add ink and some sentiments! This is just one of the cards I made and it uses Blushing Bride ink...
I used the solid butterfly from the kit to ink around to make this shading.
I have made a little tips video for this kit which I will get online asap for you!
The butterfly is already die cut in the kit, there's so much included!
These gold stars as well as the foiled card base are also in there but I added some sequins from my stash :-)
and a side view to finish today.
So, thanks for looking today and, rest assured, I will now be back to blogging properly again going forward. Thanks for your understanding.
Here's the order code for March too ;-)
